National Museum of Ancient Greece Art and Life Special Exhibition

The Diversity of Beauty: Art and Life in Ancient Greece is an exhibition co-organized by the National Museum of China, the Ministry of Culture of Greece and the National Archaeological Museum of Greece. The Diversity of Beauty: Art and Life in Ancient Greece exhibition opens on November 6, 2024 and will run until June 5, 2025. The exhibition is themed on "beauty" and showcases the richness and diversity of ancient Greek aesthetics from three dimensions: "daily life", "makeup" and "human body". This narrative method breaks the traditional exhibition model with historical periods as the main line, presenting a vivid picture of ancient Greek aesthetics to the audience. The exhibits cover all important historical periods of ancient Greece, including the Cycladic civilization, Minoan civilization, Mycenaean civilization, as well as the Geometric pottery period, Archaic period, Classical period and Hellenistic period, spanning 5,000 years.
