Check in at a popular suburban Beijing hotel, and you'll fall in love at first sight.

That's right, this is the Beijing Zhongxin Jinling Hotel in Pinggu. The gardens are secluded, elegant, and peaceful. The scenery is picturesque. The hotel is filled with the songs of birds and the fragrance of flowers all year round (there's a tropical botanical garden in winter). My best friend invited me to Yipiao Minsu for my birthday. As a thank-you gift, I brought her to the Beijing Zhongxin Jinling Hotel. The main part of the hotel is built into the mountainside. The irregular rock structure is very distinctive. It has even won awards. It's perfect for taking photos; they always turn out great. The hotel lobby has a diamond skylight that looks like it's fallen from the sky. It refracts sunlight into a seven-colored starburst. You can see the blue sky and the flowing clouds. It's truly beautiful. The hotel is right in front of the Xiyu Reservoir. Every room has a window overlooking the lake, mountains, and water. The hotel is very large and has a children's playground. Adults can also enjoy the go-karts. There's also a tropical botanical garden (self-service entry with your room card password). You can experience the southern charm even in winter. On the working day we visited, we were the only two people there. It felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. In front of the hotel, there's a small pond separated from the reservoir. You can feed the ducks and geese. There are also a few cute cats. We bought sausages to feed the cats, and they were very well-behaved. As a hotel that mainly caters to conferences and families, it has a football field, basketball court, badminton hall, tennis court, table tennis hall, billiard room, KTV, and red bar. The hotel's 5th floor houses a Huaiyang cuisine Chinese restaurant (Suzhou and Zhejiang cuisine). The food is pretty good. The dishes are served quickly. There's a 15% service charge. Breakfast is served on the first floor and offers a wide variety. The service is enthusiastic. If you don't want to leave the hotel, you can easily spend a day or two here.
