A carefree trip to Nalan Court.

We left work on Friday and hit the road. We drove for 1.5 hours to Huairou. On the way, we found a homestay called Nalan Court. The design of the whole homestay was very much to our taste. We decided to spend a quiet and free weekend here. In the evening, the housekeeper prepared a steaming hot pot for us. The chicken was boiled to make the broth, and it was delicious. Eating hot pot in the mountains in winter is so heartwarming. I have to say that the housekeeper was very thoughtful and warm-hearted. I give her a thumbs up. After dinner, we went back to our room to rest. We chose a loft view suite. The room was simple but not plain, and I liked it very much. My favorite thing was the fireplace in the room. We enjoyed tea, roasted sweet potatoes, and roasted potatoes by the fireplace. It was so delicious. Especially when we smelled the faint scent of pine oil. Our whole body and mind were relaxed. The room was cozy, with romantic bed curtains and a large bathtub. Soaking in the bathtub before going to bed made all the fatigue of the day disappear. The next day, we chose to drink tea and chat in the courtyard. There were a few kittens jumping around in the courtyard, and the kids had a great time. We visited other rooms, and each room had its own unique style. Each room was located in the mountains, surrounded by valleys. When you open the window, you can see the beautiful scenery. Here, you can hear the sound of the stream flowing by. The high-quality natural environment is very healing. The homestay also won the Best Design Award. Thumbs up. We learned from chatting with the owner of the homestay that he is a designer. This homestay is his masterpiece. It is free from the vulgarity of ordinary farmhouses. It does not lose the dignity of a manor. Every view is just right. There are many options for those who like entertainment. Several room types give you different experiences. The dedicated KTV, mahjong table, private hot spring room, and meeting room were beyond my imagination. Whether you are traveling with family, dating with your partner, dining with friends, or having a team-building event with your department, there is always one for you.
