We recommend a five-day, four-night trip to Beijing, with the main activities mentioned in the title. This five-day, four-night itinerary is quite packed. It takes about three to four hours to fly from Hong Kong to Beijing. We took an 8 AM flight and arrived at Beijing Daxing Airport around noon. There are dining options on the top floor of the airport. After that, we called a Didi to go to Universal Studios in Tongzhou and checked into the hotel. We had Peking duck at a nearby mall. Staying at the park hotel has its perks, as you can enter the park an hour early the next morning. We recommend starting with the early-opening Harry Potter attractions, followed by queuing for Jurassic World as early as possible. The Transformers ride is also a must. After playing, we collected our luggage and called a Didi to go to the Beijing Oriental Starlight Hotel, which offers great value in the city center near Wangfujing. On the third day, we went to the Mutianyu Great Wall early in the morning. You can join a tour bus to get there. You don't need to spend too much time there; around 1 PM, you can have lunch at a restaurant in the scenic area. Afterward, you can call a Didi to go to a nearby scenic area for mountain biking. After biking, call a Didi back to Wangfujing. On the fourth day, you can visit the museums in the city center, then go to Qianmen Street, and later to a nearby mall for indoor horse riding. On the fifth day, visit the Forbidden City, then call a Didi to the airport to return to Hong Kong.
