During a spring outing, I visited the Shuiyu Folk Village in Fangshan for mountain climbing

After the Qingming Festival holiday, I stayed at a friend's homestay in Shuiyu Village, Fangshan. It's a village with a lot of character, and many old movies were reportedly filmed there. The village is small, but the ecological environment is excellent. There are apricot, peach, jujube, persimmon, and toon trees everywhere. My friend told me that you can encounter many wild animals in the mountains. Walking along the village's bluestone paths towards the mountain, you can see many ancient houses from the Qing Dynasty era. The mountain paths are easy to walk, and as you stroll, you can overlook the terraced fields. It's quite comfortable to go on a 3 to 4-hour outdoor trek with children. The ancient village is sparsely populated, and its tranquility makes it easy to relax, especially suitable for those who enjoy the outdoors. After climbing the mountain and returning to the homestay, we had a BBQ by ourselves. In the evening, sitting around the stove brewing tea was really cozy. If the weather is good, you can even stargaze at night.
