Shuiyu Village is located in the deep mountains of Fangshan District, Beijing, surrounded by mountains, with fresh air, and is a well-preserved ancient village from the Ming and Qing dynasties. It's a super niche summer retreat! Few people know about it, and on the day we went, we almost had the whole place to ourselves! ❤ There is a stage at the entrance of the village. An ancient road made of bluestone runs through the entire village, which is circular in shape, facing south and north, built against the mountain, forming a unique architectural style. There is a circular viewing platform in the village, about seven or eight meters high, from where you can take in the panoramic view of Shuiyu Village. In the early winter, the yellow leaves fall on the bluestone roofs and the mottled streets, writing the vicissitudes and the passage of time of the ancient village. 🚗 Navigation: 1. Shuiyu Village, Nanjiao Township, Fangshan District, with a P parking lot at the entrance, free of charge. 2. Take bus 917 from Beijing Tianqiao Long-Distance Bus Station to Fangshan Bus Station, then transfer to bus F23 and get off at Shuiyu Village Station. 👣 Hiking route: Starting at Shuiyu Ancient Village, pass through ✔️ the cooperative - ✔️ Dongweng Bridge - ✔️ Thousand-Year Ancient Pagoda Tree - ✔️ Niangniang Temple - ✔️ Yang Family Courtyard - ✔️ Shamao Mountain Plank Road (start climbing) - ✔️ reach the top of the mountain and then follow the plank road down. 🍛 Dining: You can bring your own supplies, water and snacks, etc. There is a supermarket and farmhouses near the parking lot for convenient dining, and there is a restaurant in the ancient village, 'Stone Slab House', with many stone slabs at the door, and poems written in chalk on the stone slabs, where you can try special farmhouse dishes and Guanchrome noodles.
