The best Chinese Garden

#christmastrip I kicked off my Summer Palace adventure by taking the metro line 4 in Beijing. After a 30 minutes ride from the city centre, I emerged from the underground into the warmth of summer, walking around 10-minute to the palace entrance. Right after the entrance, it is a Suzhou street. There are local streets, I glimpsed the traditional daily life, savored street snacks, and soaked in the vibrant colors of nearby markets. Besides, Kunming Lake is stunning. The water acted like a mirror, faithfully reflecting the ancient buildings and the modern high scrapper, lush green trees, and the imposing hill in the distance. The atmosphere was one of peace and uniqueness. Nature and the historical structures appeared to be in harmony.
