🏡 Wat Phawana Phirattharam, originally named Wat Mai Winai Chamnan, was built in 1886 during the reign of King Rama V. The land belonged to the Luang Chamnan family, and the temple was constructed by Khun Chamnan Sombat (Lek Chulaka) and Khun Ying Phuean. 🏠 Later, in 1912, King Rama VI visited the temple to personally present the Kathin robes and renamed the temple to Wat Phawana Phirattharam. Key attractions within the temple include: 🏠 The ordination hall (Ubosot), which features murals depicting the Ten Jataka Tales painted by local artists during the reigns of King Rama V and VI. Each painting incorporates scenes of daily life, such as rickshaws, shrines, and soldiers in Western-style uniforms, serving as a historical record of the era.
