Historical Grand Palace in Thailand

The Grand Palace is a complex of buildings at the heart of Bangkok. This iconic landmark truly took my breath away with its stunning and ornate architectural details, vibrant colors and grandeur. The Grand Palace housed the kings of Siam and served as the house of government for over 150 years. It is still used for official events and state functions. Covered shoulders and knees are required, no shorts for men. Hats and shoes must be removed before entering the temples. They are very strict with their dress code, and as tourists, we must be respectful of the local customs and traditions.
