Wat Mongkol Thep

Wat Mongkol Thep is the 27th provincial meditation center in Chachoengsao. Originally just a monk's residence, it was established as a temple in 1999. This temple is a peaceful place with a serene atmosphere. The main highlight is the opportunity to pay respects and seek blessings from the Phra Phuttha Pathom Borom Maha Ananta Barami Si Wiriya, the largest Buddha statue in Thailand, adorned with tens of thousands of smaller Buddha images. The statue is a stunning golden yellow, standing 13 meters tall with a 7-meter-wide base. It's a must-visit for making merit.
