8 favourite captures in Tarangire National Park

My eight favourite captures during our first safari game drive: 1) A family of three zebras trudge across the savannah plains in search of food & water 2) Two (kudus) is company, three is a crowd. 3) A grey heron strikes the lottery feast as it nimbly picks up a large frog from the lake, proceeding to swallow it whole whilst the frog is literally alive & kicking. 4) A lilac-breasted roller dazzles us with its wide array of stunning colours on its feather coat. Chosen as Kenya’s national bird, its 8 colours represent the country’s diverse tribes that make up its community. 5) A male lion watches intently over his partner, awaiting the signal of her readiness to mate. 6) A mother & baby elephant duo share some cosy moments when feeding. 7) A brown snake-eagle scans the horizon from its vantage point before dusk. 8) The sun disappears behind the hill in the distance, illuminating the sky in its final seconds of glory. Another gorgeous sunset, enough said.
