Elevation: ~ 1,754 metres above sea level. Size & Depth: The lake’s perimeter is about 2.6 km; its maximum depth is around 5 m. It’s the largest natural lake of the Cadore region. Known for its beautiful reflections of surrounding peaks: you can see groups like the Cadini di Misurina, Monte Cristallo, Tre Cime di Lavaredo, and Sorapiss. The climate around the lake is considered beneficial for respiratory conditions. There is a centre (historically) for childhood asthma near the lake. Walk around the lake: The path circling Lago Misurina is pleasant, not overly demanding, and offers beautiful vistas. Great for gentle hikes and photo spots.
