Mount Aso

This is the place that I have always wanted to come, just 2 or 3 hours away from my city Fukuoka. Unfortunately this time, the mountain was covered with lot of volcanic ash but still the air was so fresh on the top and the landscape was amazing. If you ever have a chance to visit Kumamoto or Kyushu island, I would really recommend here. And say hi to the cute cows as well:)

Getting There -  Attractions - Mount Aso (阿蘇山, Asosan) is an active volcano in the center of Kyushu which most recently erupted in 2016 but has since calmed down again. Aso's ancient caldera ranks among the world's largest, with a diameter of up to 25 kilometers and a circumference of over 100 kilometers.
