An impressive ART collections

#westerneurope An absolute "must" for all art 🎨 lovers. This amazing museum hosts an impressive collection of paintings from late middle age to contemporary art by the main flamish masters, Peter Paul Rubens above all, with some tribute to some foreign ones. Very interesting as well the modern art section. The architecture of the museum itself is very impressive. Very well organised with services, audio guide, accessibility, gift shop, cafeteria & restaurant. Last but not least the ticket is included in the Antwerp City Pass. Absolutely recommended 👌 Very nice museum to enjoy works of Dutch masters as well as some contemporary pieces. Liked how both old and contemporary art intertwined within the exhibition with works from different periods displayed next to each other and grouped by theme and central motifs showcasing how they evolved through the time. We visited on a weekday and there were only few visitors so we had a chance to explore the art in tranquil atmosphere that elevated our visiting experience. #travel #thingstodo #museums
