A new "power spot"

📍Cape Gamota The easternmost cape in Shikoku has a wonderful view from the lighthouse, and on a clear day you can see as far as Onaruto Bridge, Awaji Island, and Wakayama Prefecture. On the coast, large, rugged rocks are washed by the waves, and the northern sandy beach is also known as a landing and egg-laying site for loggerhead turtles. In September 2010, a stone monument with a wave and wind motif, "Poem of Waves," was installed to enhance the cape's appeal.
