Father of Ice Mountains — Muztagh Ata

Towering at approximately 7,509 meters (also cited as 7,546 meters) on the eastern edge of Xinjiang's Pamir Plateau, Muztagh Ata is known in the Kyrgyz language as the "Father of Ice Mountains." With its rounded massif, perennial snow cover, and vast glaciers, the mountain exudes a majestic and imposing presence. Below, the crystal-blue waters of Karakul Lake reflect the snowy peak, forming an exceptionally beautiful picture and earning the area its reputation as a photography paradise. Thanks to its relatively gentle western slope, Muztagh Ata has become the preferred choice for mountaineers aiming to conquer a seven-thousand-meter peak, making it a sanctuary for adventurers. #hellohalloween
