Short scenic hike from Thessaloniki

#mediterraneanvibes #thessaloniki #greece St. Basil Filippeion Chapel is a small chapel lost in a pine tree forest. It is a short hike from Thessaloniki - a perfect way to escape the crowds and enjoy nature. The hike isn’t long but it is quite steep, so better come in good shoes and surely bring lots of water, sunhat and sunscreen. It is a dust road but it is wide and hard to miss. When I came to the chapel - nobody was there, so I had the entire place just for myself. And and unexpected surprise: there was s turtle drinking by the water fountain!!! So look out for those cuties!
