Asinbel Temple, Egypt

When I came to the Abu Simbel Temple in Egypt, I remembered what my friend said. "Although the Egyptian pyramids are famous and magnificent, they are the least amazing." This temple was also a site saved by UNESCO because the Egyptian government wanted to build a dam. After being cut into more than 1,000 pieces, the temple was reassembled on a high ground 65 meters away from the original site. Originally, the angle of sunlight in the temple would focus on the statue on the pharaoh’s birthday, but now the original light angle cannot be restored after the relocation. You can also see that there are obvious traces of cutting and pasting on the statue (seriously, how was it built in the past?). The Great Temple is dedicated to Ramses II, and the Small Temple next to it is dedicated to his beloved wife Nefertari. You may not know who Ramses II is, but he is the pharaoh who is said to be an Egyptian prince like Moses, but sent troops to pursue Moses, but was cut off by Moses's split sea. This pharaoh was known as the "King of Kings". Perhaps 50% of the statues of pharaohs you see in Egypt are of him. He also signed the earliest peace treaty in history. He lived to an astonishing 90 years old. There are probably too many stories about him to tell. Those who are interested can go and check it out.
