I thought I would definitely see drift ice when I took the icebreaker in March, but it turned out to be the opposite. There was no drift ice at all on the day we arrived. But since we were here, we still had to take a boat out to sea to see it. Once on board, we went to the deck first. Even if I didn’t see the drift ice, I could still look at the Sea of ​​Okhotsk, smell the sea breeze, and comfort myself. I’ll just come back next time. Then we chose a seat in the cabin and went to the sales department to buy the famous "drift ice beer". The beer is brewed with melted water from drift ice and has a unique aqua blue color. It tastes smooth and not bitter, and it is quite delicious. The whole boat trip takes about 1 hour to return to the original port. Although I didn’t break the ice this time, I was able to drink drift ice beer. I hope I can break the ice successfully next time.
