Plane Cemetery in Shanghai !!
Have you heard about this place? is quite hard to find and a bit off all the touristic areas of Shanghai 🤫
Located inside a Technology institute area, there are also a Kart Racing Track, a Space Museum among other things !
Take Line 12 and get out in Aiguo Road (爱国路) then grab a bike and ride 15 min north to 上海电缆厂有限公司 . 🌲
It is not far from Huangxing Park (黄兴公园) so if you're nearby, why not having a look ? 😉
A different area of Shanghai to explore and a different activity to do 😄

Former Site of the Public Concession's Yulin Road Police Station|No. 549 Yulin Road (1927)
|No. 549 Yulin Road (1927). Located at No. 549 Yulin Road, the former site of the Public Concession's Yulin Road Police Station is an important historical site in Shanghai.
The Shanghai Public Concession was established in the mid-19th century. With the rapid increase in population and the complexity of public security issues within the concession, the Shanghai Municipal Council established several police stations to maintain order. The Yulin Road Police Station was one of them, primarily responsible for the public security management of Yulin Road and its surrounding areas.
The police station was not only a law enforcement agency within the concession, but also undertook multiple functions such as maintaining social order, combating crime, and managing traffic. Its members included foreign police officers (such as British and Indian officers) and Chinese officers, forming a diverse policing system.
The architectural style of the Yulin Road Police Station reflects the typical characteristics of public buildings in Shanghai in the early 20th century, integrating the practicality of Western architecture and the diversity of concession culture.
The Yulin Road Police Station was built in 1926 with a reinforced concrete structure. It is a modernist building. The original building had a peripheral layout, and the south side along the street and the southeast corner buildings are still preserved. It has a flat roof, exposed brick exterior walls, and cement-rendered surfaces at the base, cornice, balcony, and windowsill.
The building has witnessed the changes in Yulin Road and its surrounding areas, and it is also a witness to Shanghai's urban development and social changes.

Authentic Northwest Chinese Cuisine Near Fudan 🍜🥢
If you're near Fudan University, there's a hidden gem in Jiangwan Town that serves some of the best northwest Chinese food at great prices! 🇨🇳🔥 We had handmade noodles 🍜, freshly pulled and full of flavor, and also tried the fried noodles (tagliatelle style) 🍝, which were packed with delicious spices.
But the highlight? The roujiamo 🌮, often called the "Chinese hamburger"—crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful on the inside. It's a must-try if you're a fan of street food! Everything was incredibly tasty and affordable, making it a perfect spot for students or anyone looking to enjoy authentic flavors from China’s northwest. Highly recommended! 🍽️👌

The late cherry blossoms are in full bloom, and the 'unswept cherry blossom' road in Yangpu is poised for action
It is the season of the late cherry blossoms in full bloom. As Shanghai's first cherry blossom municipal boulevard and the first 'unswept cherry blossom' road, Jiangwan Town Road (from Yinhang Road to Qingbo Road) in Yangpu District has reached its most beautiful moment. Yangpu District is ready to implement this year's 'unswept cherry blossom' plan.
The late cherry blossoms of the Guanshan variety are planted on one side of Jiangwan Town Road (from Yinhang Road to Qingbo Road), and camphor trees are planted on the other, with one side full of pink blossoms and the other full of lush greenery. The week after the Qingming Festival in April each year is the most beautiful time for this road.
In the past two days, with the sun out, this road has become even more beautiful. The splendid late cherry blossoms are large and cover the branches. Starting from April 18 last year, this road once again initiated the 'unswept cherry blossom'. 'Unswept cherry blossom' refers to the implementation of a refined cleaning mode during the petal falling period, with manual picking and patrol inspections as the main cleaning methods, replacing the 'sweep it all away' approach. The gorgeous 'cherry blossom carpet' has attracted many citizens to come and check in.

Dynamic Percussion Comedy—'The Beating Chef Show'
🍳🎶🤣 Breaking language barriers with just the rhythm of dynamic percussion and humorous comedic content, it will make you laugh out loud! This is Korea's representative cultural tourism product—'The Beating Chef Show'! 👏
🌟 This dialogue-free, purely musical performance doesn't require any language comprehension, so foreign friends can easily enjoy this unique show. Based on traditional Korean music and the 'four objects game', it blends modern performance techniques without being boring at all, but rather keeps you riveted! 🤩
🍲 The show is set in a kitchen and tells a series of amusing stories that unfold when an uninvited guest—the manager's nephew—suddenly joins the kitchen staff in preparing for a wedding banquet. The actors integrate the rhythmic sounds of pots, pans, ladles, and knives with traditional Korean music, satisfying both the auditory and visual senses of the audience and allowing you to appreciate the charm of Korean traditional culture! 👍
🎭 During the performance, you will see Chinese elements such as nunchucks and acrobatics, as the director of the Beating Show is very fond of Chinese culture, hence these elements were included. Additionally, six audience members will be invited on stage to interact, ensuring that the audience does more than just watch the show but also gets a direct, immersive experience that is sure to be thrilling! 😜

Ye Family Garden
Shanghai Ye Family Garden is located at No. 507 Zhengmin Road. It is a garden from the Republic of China period built by Ye Yiquan, the son of Ye Chengzhong, a wealthy businessman from Zhenhai, Zhejiang. After the Jiangwan Racecourse was completed in 1910, Ye raised funds from the profits to build this garden, mainly for horse racing gamblers to rest and have fun. Ye Family Garden was designed by the Japanese and has a unique layout. There is a stone dragon lying in the pool, with a dragon head, dragon body, dragon claws and dragon tail that are very lifelike. The overall garden still follows the traditional Chinese layout of one pond and three islands. The main building is a two-story French classical-style building surrounded by Western-style pergolas and has a unique layout.
"Wolonggang" and "Fuhuling" lie on the north and south sides of the garden, surrounding the lakes and ponds in the garden to form a whole; pavilions, towers, bridges, flowing water, rocks and caves are scattered in an orderly manner between the hills and on the green islands and mounds, forming a beautiful garden scene. The garden is full of pine and cypress trees, a perfect combination of Chinese and Western styles. It is very distinctive and worth a visit.

Shanghai - Dayangpu
Here are some recommended places to eat and have fun in Shanghai Dayangpu,
Aqiao's Potstickers - Thin skin, crispy bottom, lots of meat, fresh soup, paired with a bowl of beef soup, it's amazing;
Shuifeng Road potstickers + the roast duck next door + the beef ramen next door, if you have a good appetite, buy 2 liang of potstickers, half a roast duck, and go to the ramen shop next door for 2 liang of beef ramen, a day's satisfaction;
If the weather is good, go for a walk in Yangpu Park, there are elephant slides that children often play with, and you can also drive a boat on the lake, killing half a day;
University Road, if you want to be quiet for a while, you can go there. Find a western restaurant, order a brunch, watch the crowd, play some games, it's a very pleasant day. And it's quiet in the hustle and bustle, and there are many delicious foods.
