You can either stay a night and absorb the warm local vibes or just one day visit should be fine. It's known as the sea of Kyoto, here first, I highly recommend you to take boat tour called Ine Bay Sightseeing Boat located in Ine, Yoza District which you can easly find it on Google Maps. To get to this tour centre, you need to take bus from train station for around an hour trip and enjoy the excitement with those seagulls once you inside the boat. One experience that you might not will have in anywhere else is feeding the seagulls during the boat trip. It's quite a thrill! Whether you are on yourself-guided or with another travel tour, Amanohashidate is worth visiting you will never regret.

It runs every 20 minutes and can only accommodate 40 people per train, so you have to queue up as soon as possible. Nice short hike on a sand bar in northern Kyoto prefecture with views out to the Sea of Japan. With free parking in the nearby charming town, it’s a relatively unknown tourist spot which is worth a stop if you’re in the area especially to break up a road trip. Ideal for stretching those legs for a 5km flat hike along the sand bar with mountain and sea views.
