I found this place passing by and went in. No English menu available . Filled with Japanese inside the restaurant . But the food is one of the most authentic Okinawan food I had here . Taste so good just like how my grandma would cook for me ! I’ll definitely come back for more

I went to Hatenohama Beach, which has been chosen as the most beautiful beach in the Orient and is located in Kumejima, Okinawa Prefecture. Hatenohama Beach is made up of three beaches: Maenohama Beach, Nakanohama Beach, and Hatenohama Beach. About 3 hours from Okinawa's main island (Tomarin). A beautiful remote island comes into view. Beautiful sandy beaches, clear waters, and a land rich in nature. Hatenohama is in a class of its own. You get to the beach by boat, and if you're lucky, you might even see some sea turtles! There aren't as many tourists as on the main island, and the warm local people are also charming. There are also a variety of restaurants, which is great! In particular, "Yanguwa", which was featured on TV, serves delicious Okinawa soba noodles. If you want to experience a different atmosphere from the main island, be sure to check it out! #OkinawaTrip

There weren't many people on Kumejima during the long weekend, so it was a really peaceful time. After arriving on the island, we settled down at Kume Island, and for dinner, there was a small restaurant area in front of the hotel. We rented an electric scooter to get souvenirs and went to a nearby supermarket. We were shocked at the outrageous prices of vegetables, but perhaps this is the fate of remote islands. The next morning, we took a 15-minute boat ride to Hatenohama Beach, one of Kumejima's attractions. The crystal clear water is truly beautiful, and you can just sit there and daydream on the sand for as long as you like. It's hot in the summer, so half a day is probably enough. After returning to the island, we swam in the hotel pool, and the Kumejima soba restaurant in front of the hotel was delicious again. However, the airport building itself boasts a very unique exterior, and the souvenir shop inside has all of Kumejima's specialties, and in particular, the old-fashioned shop in the waiting room before boarding is full of various snacks, including coffee and Blue Seal ice cream.
