The resort also has a coffee shop where you can order food. You can order it to eat in your room or on the floating raft. They also offer pedal boats and rowboats. 📍Overall, we think Angnamtong View Resort is a landmark of Mueang Phueng. The resort's setting, nestled among the tall trees by the reservoir, offers beautiful views and plenty of photo opportunities. It's quiet and peaceful, perfect for those seeking a truly relaxing getaway, those with their own car, or those who want to rent a car for the entire trip. Since it's quite far from Mueang Phueng, the resort doesn't have cars for rent, so we couldn't go anywhere. This time, we traveled by public transport, so we just soaked up the atmosphere at the resort (it's worth the price 😆). For those who like activities, we recommend staying at a floating raft on the Don Klang Yai beach, where it's easier to find food. Just a short walk away is the community and shops. There are boat trips, alms giving, and cliff tours. And most importantly, they sell hot pot (moo tha)! It was a very impressive trip. I wasn't disappointed at all visiting Muang Fuang and Vientiane. The travel was convenient. The total cost was around 5,000 Baht, including travel, accommodation, and food expenses. Other expenses were also reasonable. The Lao people were very lovely. Initially, I didn't have high expectations for this trip, but the atmosphere in Muang Fuang exceeded my expectations by far. The scenery was beautiful, and the water was very clear. If I have the chance, I will definitely visit again.

In the evening, boats selling food pass by, and you can call them over to buy meals. There are rubber rings available for water activities. The place is quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxation. It gives off a vibe similar to Cheow Lan Lake but is much more budget-friendly, with cheaper accommodations and food. Especially the papaya salad, which is delicious at every restaurant. Phuong Town has many attractions to explore and is not far from Vientiane. Highly recommended! Travel Information: We rented a van for 3,500 THB per day, including fuel, accommodation, and toll fees. Since there are no nearby restaurants or tourist attractions, you can set up a tent and camp there. Getting there is quite simple: head towards Sam Muen Beach in Muang Phueng. It's a bit further past the beach, but just keep going straight without any turns until you reach the bridge over the Nam Lik River. On the left, you'll see the Nam Lik Dam, and this spot will be on the right. It's a spacious area with a small house where you can drive down to.
