"My husband and I chose this hotel because we trusted Marriott’s reputation, but our stay was shockingly bad. While the view was decent, the hotel itself felt outdated.
The worst part was the service. The Indian front desk staff treated us (Asian guests) with cold indifference, yet minutes later, smiled warmly at white guests. We booked an ocean-view room but were given a garden view instead. When we complained, they insisted it wasn’t a mistake, only after arguing did they ”upgrade” us to a two queen-bed ocean-view room (which was not what we wanted).
The front desk didn’t even bother explaining breakfast locations, facilities, or checkout time. Thankfully, we only stayed one night before switching to Hyatt. Westin, take notes from Hyatt, your guests deserve respect, not discrimination and incompetence."
"I recently stayed at Vendi St. George, and my experience was a mix of positives and negatives.
On the positive side, the service was warm and welcoming, and the staff was attentive. The room was spacious and very clean, which made the stay comfortable. Additionally, the hotel’s location was convenient, offering easy access to different areas while maintaining a peaceful atmosphere.
However, there were several issues that affected the overall experience. The bathroom had noticeable moisture problems, and the toilet brush was not in a hygienic condition. The toilet flush also didn’t work properly, which was inconvenient. Furthermore, the shower lacked water pressure, making it less enjoyable. The room I stayed in was on the first floor, and while the view was nice, it didn’t match the pictures online. Another issue was the bed—it consisted of two mattresses pushed together, but one was higher than the other, making it uncomfortable. Additionally, there was no light above the bathroom mirror, and I couldn’t control the balcony light.
Overall, while the hotel has good service and cleanliness, some maintenance improvements are needed to enhance the guest experience."
"Really lovely hotel. Clean. Great location. Close enough to all the great attractions and shops but far enough from all the noise so you still get a great night's sleep.
Fantastic service from everyone at Hyatt from the receptionists (Ben and I didn't get the name of the lady who worked with him but I think it may have been Laura?) to the doorman Hoque. Would highly recommend.
PS lovely sunset from the 11th floor where the pool is"
"Nice location if one is looking for a seaside holiday. Quiet, peaceful with lovely views of the sea. If one is looking for a location that is easy to travel around, then staying at Valletta might be more convenient as the bus and main ferry terminal is situated there. However, if one is touring by car / taxi then the consideration where the bus terminal is would be less important.
Filling breakfast (though it doesn’t vary very much from day to day) and serves its function of filling one up for the start of the day! Rooms are neat and tidy, some areas show wear and tear but does not affect the overall functionality of the room. Good and clean comfy beds.
Excellent service by the hotel staff who made the stay enjoyable. We unfortunately had an accident with the sliding bathroom door but the hotel staff did their best to make the rest of our stay as worry-free as possible."
"great elevated location with views across the bay, despite being in a busy part, its still a quiet alley and good easy parking.
the staff was very friendly. and served great breakast.
the spa costs extra which is always a bit odd, but they have a rooftop pool that is included for guests and its a great place to chill and catch some sun.
we rented suite with a yakuzzi and the yakuzzi never got heated (tried everything on the settings panel)..maybe they could pay some attention to that
all in all we would gladly return here"
"It was so great to stay here, tasty breakfasts, especially pastries and juices 😋 3 min from the bus station, great soundproofing in the rooms, workspace in the room, and soo lovely service"
"Unfortunately, it's not worth five stars. The hotel is quite dated, and the rooms are in need of renovation. Far from a five-star hotel. The cockroaches in the room were taken care of, but the fact that they exist doesn't speak well for the hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet is extensive. The hotel's location is a matter of taste, but it's directly adjacent to a huge construction site that will likely continue for some time. Several hotel complexes are being built. Luckily, we got a room with a garden/sea view. The hotel offers various pools, a spa, wellness facilities, and a fitness center, although we didn't use them."
"Very comfortable clean and quiet place. There are soundproof doors/windows. Great swimming pool/Spa, fabulous breakfast, staff very kind and helpful. Such a shame that a rooftop outdoor pool kept closed as weather is still quite nice and warm."
"”Wonderful experience! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location and excellent service—highly recommend"
"Our stay at the hotel was excellent. The staff was very kind and welcoming. Both dinner and breakfast were great, with plenty of choices. The spa experience was very relaxing, and our room was clean and spacious. We also really enjoyed the swimming pools.
The only issue we encountered was that our reservation was initially lost, so we had to wait until it was found. However, the reception team was very helpful and supportive throughout the process, which we appreciated.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this hotel!"

Amazing
GGuest UserEnjoyed my stay with my partner. Close to everywhere we wanted to go. I love the rainforest restaurant in the complex. They give residents of the hotel 10% off. The food was amazing. Outdoor pool was beautiful, wish I came when the weather was better, indoor pool was also good. In general it’s an amazing location.my room was big and I enjoyed the sea view. Our room was beautifully arranged and a free bottle of champagne.

Great
一一條咸魚The location is excellent, with a bus stop just a 5-minute walk away, making it very convenient to go directly to major attractions! The breakfast has a rich selection, with both Chinese and Western Maltese specialties, and you never get tired of eating it every day. The room has plenty of space and is pleasantly surprised to have a small balcony where you can enjoy the breeze and the night view at night. Friendly staff, reasonable prices in the off-season, slightly higher in the peak season, but overall cost-effective, highly recommended!

GGiannusiaWe stayed at the hotel with friends from March 7 to March 10, and we absolutely loved it! The service was excellent, the staff was polite, and they even gave us our room earlier than expected. The hotel is located right in the center of the nightlife scene—such a great location! The design of the hotel is very unique and artistic. I definitely recommend it! Everything was amazing! Thank you so much!

BBohemianRThis was my first time at Antoniel Suites. I arrived late at night after midnight from the airport. Once I arrived I found the door locked and nobody was at the reception. Initially, I was anxious and worried, not sure of what to do but then luckily I found a big note mentioning the working times of the reception and the numbers to contact in case we needed help. I called the number and I received assistance directly. It was my mistake because I did not inform the reception of my arrival time even though they had sent me a message but due to my busy schedule, I missed the opportunity to check the message and reply on time. In this context, while this is a negative point that a reception must be available 24/7 since standard hotels will have this in place, however, I am thankful to the hotel for the fact they accommodated my need immediately when I arrived despite the odd hour. Also, they were accessible via WhatsApp number/call. However, I do strongly recommend the hotel administration change this and instead have a 24/7 receptionist since it can be intimidating for people at the first instance to not find anyone at the counter and a door locked. In terms of the room's cleanliness, it was reasonably clean and the bed was comfortable. Also, the balcony view was the best part because I could keep it open at night and sleep instead of using air conditioning. In terms of the basic amenities, i.e., there was no toothpaste or tooth brush or water bottle or kettle so do not expect anything luxury. Whether I would stay here again, I am not sure because it did not fulfil all my requirements and from a value for money perspective no it does not deserve that much because there were minimal requirements in place, however I would like to thank you the staff because they were friendly, helpful to the best of their ability and dealt with guests with respect and utmost professionalism.

TTaitatatataiiiA nice stay. Our door got some issues but they had them addressed promptly. They also always have a staff to standby , which is very professional. We can always reach someone no matter how late it is. Although there were music parties at the rooftop bar, it didnt disturb our sleep. However , the location is right next to the streets and doors are thin. Sometimes the noises could be pretty loud from ppl at stairs and street , so don't forget your ear plugs.

GGuest UserThe hotel is clean, the staff are nice and helpful.
The drive route to car park is a bit narrow and has to drive slowly and carefully. A draw back is the air conditioner cannot change from heat mode to cool as the room is a bit hot, we have to open the window. Luckily not much noise is heard during midnight.
Overall we are quit satisfy with this hotel.

GGuest UserMe and my partner stayed here for a weekend getaway jacuzzi suite. Absolutely amazing it couldn't be any better loved every moment of it. Breakfast was phenomenal, service over all 10/10. It's on a strip so you will hear music at night , didn't bother me at all. Lively, will definitely love it if your a party person. There was a slight smell in the hall ways aswell but once again it didn't bother me. Highly recommend beautiful hotel. I can't find words to describe how beautiful it was.

GGuest UserThe service for the price is very good.
Breakfast includes some bread and tomatoes and cucumbers including croissants, several kinds of cheese and ham, jams and boiled *, yogurt cereal, coffee machine and juice machine there is. apple and orange.
The room is large and has a balcony. With hair dryer and soap. There is also a refrigerator. Towels are also changed every day and they are cleaned. Check-out is easy to just put the key in the box. There is also a rooftop pool, but it was cold so I didn't use it, but it is a small and cute pool.
The unfortunate point is the noise caused by the oldness of the equipment and the construction of the neighborhood.
The flush button in the toilet was broken. It can be flushed, but there is always a sound of water. The shower head was also a little broken and it was difficult to use. The air conditioner was not on and it was a little cold at night, no matter what daytime. The most difficult thing was the noise. Construction is being carried out in front of me from morning till evening, and I feel the rattling and shaking. In addition, people were noisy at night and noisy. (Is it because it is a city) I think it is basically a good inn considering the price.

AAndrewPLIf you book a room with a view of the courtyard, it’s affordable and worth the money. Rooms with a sea view are more expensive, and the balcony doors are too thin to block out street noise. Renovation would be a good idea.
