Excellent property with great location, extremely clean and comfortable, super friendly staff. Teo was extraordinary! He was a true example of excellent hospitality. He made our trip more exciting in Malta by guiding and giving us tips about the city and the attractions to cover in 72 hours. He made sure that everything was arranged for us accordingly. I couldn't thank him enough for the excellent level of service he had rendered. We will surely visit H Hotel on our next holiday and expect that will recommend your hotel to our family and friends.

Perfect location. Clean room. Great service. Good view. But.... I visited in March when it was very cold. No heating and the sliding door had many gaps where the wind whistled in so my two nights were very cold and no additional blankets.

Starting with the information - we stayed at So City as a young couple (who arent particularly into nightclubs/bars) to see Matla for the first time over a week. I have given this a 'benefit-of-the-doubt' rating due to the hotel being incredibly new. We picked So City Hotel because of the value, it was incredibly well priced. I'd imagine this is a strategy due to it being so new but it was certainly well worth the price we paid. On to the hotel as a whole - I feel this is definitely aimed toward capturing people coming to Malta for some night life. Its positioned so that no more than 10 seconds from leaving the lobby, you can be in a bar, and their are some nice bars surrounding. That said, we werent there for that - but this location also meant that finding an evening meal, or a quick early night drink was incredibly easy. Exploring the island was also very easy from here, Valletta was a very short journey, and as we had opted to rent a car, there was a carpark about 5 minutes walk away (Pengardens) which is reasonably priced for over night parking, and we never struggled for a space. The room was very comfortable, and the mattress was perfect and bedding very soft and comfortable. Our upgraded room was also incredibly spacious. The theming is a nice touch and makes the room a bit more characterful and individual. Staying on the 7th floor, there was minimal noise at night, altough id be concerned if we needed to keep the window open.... The black out curtains were also amazing for keep the room dark for a little bit of extra sleep. Constructive criticism for the room would be: The shower tempurture is difficult - the hottest setting is insanely hot (my other half loves hot showers but this was too much for her also) and it wouldnt go cold, just cooler, it also seemed to get colder through out the shower and you found yourself adjusting. There is not a lot of storage at all for longer stays. This is perhaps a by product of it feeling aimed towards 'nightlifers' who might stop 3 nights or so. I would perhaps ask reception for additional hangers if you have plenty of clothes for a longer stay. The mini fridge, altough useful, is not big enough to put larger water bottles in, which can be annoying. The aircon unit is situated in a place which means it blows directly at the bed. I tried to play with the control but there was no way to adjust it that I could find. Im trying to cool the room, not refridgerate myself. The timer on the aircon also didnt seem to work, so setting it the blow for 30 mins whilst i went to sleep just didnt seem to work. The TV is not a full smartTV which is a shame. Just channels and an internet browser, which are never nice to navigate around.... On to other notes: Breakfast is just what you need. Its not an all out buffett where there is everything you could dream of, but there is more than enough and a few items cycle so you can expect a slightly different breakfast each morning. There are spiders on the walls of the room, and mosquitoes in the room have been flying, which is really unbearable. The living environment feels damp and a bit dirty. The bathroom is not too clean. There is no hair dryer in the public area, but many youth hostels provide hair dryers. The lights in the bathroom often go out, and the lights suddenly go out after taking a shower. The roommate was very noisy, still calling at one or two in the middle of the night, and didn't sleep well for three days. Except for the great attitude of the service staff, everything else is very general. Will not come again in the future.

Recently we had a holiday in Malta and had the pleasure of staying at B&B De Rohan in the village of Zebbug. The place was very well presented and more than exceeded our expectations. Our room with the ensuite bathroom was spacious and immaculately presented as well as everywhere else on the property. The place is furnished to perfection. The swimming pool area is very well maintained and extremely pleasant to lounge around in the evening with a glass of vino. The owner Lynn makes you feel very much at home. It is like a home away from home. She is a rare gem to find in the hospitality industry and is very knowledgeable about the sites to visit on the island. Her tips were very helpful. We wholeheartedly recommend this place and will certainly stay here again next time we visit Malta.

Really lovely hotel. Clean. Great location. Close enough to all the great attractions and shops but far enough from all the noise so you still get a great night's sleep. Fantastic service from everyone at Hyatt from the receptionists (Ben and I didn't get the name of the lady who worked with him but I think it may have been Laura?) to the doorman Hoque. I loved staying at Inhawi hostel because the place was very clean, colorful, big and cozy. The staff was amazing as well, always happy to help. Staying at the hostel comes with free wifi and free breakfast, which is very nice. There is plenty of food to choose from. You can also have the option to pick a box and fill it with food bought in the supermarket. Very useful if you want to make your own lunch or dinner. One thing I'll definitely remember are the blanket forts everyone made from their beds during my stay. I thought it was funny.

Absolutely wonderful location for our group of friends to take time to be together at the pool (of which there were many pools to choose from and an abundance of free sun loungers), to take a swim in the sea (ladder access from the rocks) explore Valletta (from the bus stop at the hotel entrance), take a boat trip to the blue lagoon (again directly from the hotel) and catch up over drinks and meals with a stunning view and excellent service. Our only slight negative was having a single occupancy in one of the twin rooms there was no discount offered for the charge of the additional breakfast. All staff were extremely polite and helpful - thank you for a wonderful couple of ‘escape reality’ days!

The Embassy Hotel in Valletta is quite simply SUPERB. The employees, to a person, are absolutely fantastic. It was a genuine pleasure to be a guest. Room great. Pool great. Food great. Staff are better than you’ll find anywhere in the world.

I spent 5 days in hotel due to business visit to Malta. First feeling was-it feels like home, it is very comfortable since room is equipped with everything you need (if anything missing, reception stuff was always helpful). My room was on the 9th floor with a great view, and quite calm. Since I visited in February, I was not lucky to use rooftop pool, but I would be happy to go back since there is a great view from the pool (pool deck was open so you could go and catch some sun). Another plus is that there is laundry service in basement, which I imagine for trips longer than just a few days is very useful. Everything was very clean (they do weekly cleaning which I didn't mind as I read policy in advance), and staff was very nice. Check in was smooth and late check out was possible since room was not booked, that I appreciated greatly due to late flight that day. I found out that currently they are switching between operators for kitchen so unfortunately I didn't get to experience lunch/dinner that was mentioned in previous comments, but I believe this will add so much to their offer from March onwards. You can still order food through Wolt and have it at home (which I found very cozy!), which is a plus compared to classic hotel concept. Location is in Msida, which is more of residential area, which I didn't mind (since I lived in this area some years ago when I was working in Malta) since it's very quite and you can reach the sea by walk. It's very central so by taxi or bus is also quite easy and fast to reach touristy and bars area. Overall great experience and very comfortable. I would recommend.
