"A lovely little hotel close to Rye. We stayed in one of the round rooms and the bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever slept in. The bath in the room behind the screen might not be to everyone's taste but I liked it - if anything I'd move the TV so I could watch it in the bath! The DVDs available are a nice touch . The room was lovely and clean. We didn't eat there in the evening but had a few drinks in the bar and soon got in a conversation with one of the locals and it has a nice atmosphere The breakfast was really nice - a good size , freshly cooked to order and good quality. The staff were really friendly. I'd definitely recommend this hotel."

"It's an old house with no elevator, so it's not recommended for travelers with large suitcases. There are only about 20 rooms in total, each with its own characteristics. We stayed in the attic on the top floor, where the bathroom was bigger than the bedroom and had a large bathtub."
