"We had the most amazing dining experience at Albion House with our family and close friends. We unexpectedly were given our own private dining room which was fab! Food was incredible and our friend is coeliac and was fully catered for with GF options. We had a wonderful evening together. I would really recommend this place, amazing food and staff. Thank you to chef Luis, who came out to greet us at the end of the evening. Gorgeous night - we hope to be back very soon! Thank you!"

"It's like a prison but at least in prison you have bars for ventilation. No Air-con in the rooms and a window that doesn't open more than a few inches. They have a balcony but it's bolted shut and to and insult to injury they provide a small desk fan to push around the hot air. The staff are extremely friendly and apologetic but for the price it's definitely not what you would expect."

However, the breakfast selection was too limited, completely overpriced. Service was lukewarm; check-in wasn't possible until 3 PM. Overall, the human element could be improved."

"A Hotel that we have often dismissed purely on the outward appearance …but my husband booked a 2 night stay for my birthday and we thought the location was excellent and the terrace for the excellent breakfast was an ideal place to watch the sea and tidal bird activity. My one gripe would be the constant dogs barking in the nearby houses…yes we had our windows open because of the heat but we would remind folk that a good night’s sleep is not possible with constant barking …for that reason we would not return."

"Beware Arrived at the hotel at 8 pm expecting the advertised amenities. Only saw one member of staff who had to ring someone to find out if there was any breakfast available. There was no breakfast service at all even though this was advertised. I asked if we might use the lounge and bar only to be told this was not open as it was winter and too quiet to open. So there was nowhere to sit or have a beverage. Phoned the manager as by this time there was no member of staff to talk to and he suggested we try the pub around the corner and couldn't understand why we were disappointed that none of the facilities were operational. Left at 7.30am next morning to try and find something to eat and drink for breakfast. This is not what I expect when I book a hotel advertised as having a breakfast service and bar/lounge."
