Mountain View Hotels in Cusco

"This was an absolutely FANTASTIC stay experience and I recommend it to all travellers to Cusco. The house is conveniently located in the historic centre of Cusco and you can easily access restaurants, cafes, main attractions within a few minutes of walking. The Wanchaq train station is at most a 20-minute walk on the main street of Cusco, thereby making it very safe and easy at any time of the day. Taking an Uber, it is around 20 to 30-minute drive to the Cusco Airport, costing less than PEN 20. The main gates are locked at night for safety, though all staff will make sure that front desk service is still available 24 hours for anyone needing to exit or enter the premises. Communications is conveniently maintained through WhatsApp and made very easy. There is some street noise in the rooms at night including music playing from nearby shops, but that seems to be more prevalent on the weekends. The room and bathroom are well-maintained and have all the necessary amenities, including welcoming packets of coca tea. There is an electric heater in the room for nights with lower temperatures. Breakfast is made-to-order for every item, and it feels like a private restaurant experience. Eggs cooked any way are of top quality; juices are freshly squeezed; breads are toasted warm; coffee and tea are made fresh and refilled at a moment's notice; and the fruit salads are filled with copious amount of fresh fruit. Service is all top notch: homemade breakfast every morning, housekeeping at appropriate times, 24-hour service for late-night arrivals or early-morning departures, and answering questions for travellers - the hosts are absolutely warm and welcoming in every way possible. They also generously kept my large luggage in storage while I travelled to Machu Picchu for two days (coming back to stay again after), which made my trip very convenient. Again, I would recommend this to all travellers to Cusco, especially considering that the value for money is amazing."

"The room was good and the garden was beautiful, but it's a bit too far from the city center, which was time-consuming. If I had to choose again, I wouldn't stay here. A hotel in the city center with breakfast would definitely be better than this one. The room itself was still nice and quite spacious, though."

"This place offers incredible value for money. The beds have really thick mattresses, and while there's no hairdryer, the hot water is consistently excellent. I actually stayed here before Machu Picchu and then returned after, choosing to rebook. When I mistakenly booked for a month later on my second stay, the hotel staff understood and even told me they were worried because they didn't know how to contact me about the booking error. They're very considerate; they even asked if a double bed was okay for us. Although we didn't use it, breakfast is also provided. The owners don't speak much English, but they're incredibly enthusiastic and patient, using translation apps to communicate. Upon our initial arrival in Cusco, they gave us a map and thoroughly explained all the recommended spots. The interior decor is also charming. I'd definitely stay here again if I return to Cusco. "The hotel was completely beyond my expectations. The proprietress was very good. I got up for breakfast in the morning. It was too early. I knocked on the door and woke me up, but overall it was a very good hotel in cuzco. There was an electric heater in the room. Give a good review"

"San Pedro Station ＆ A few minutes walk from San Pedro Market. The train to Machu Picchu (using the Peru Rail) departed early in the morning and arrived at night, but it was very convenient because it was right from the station. The front desk is also available 24 hours a day, and when I went out early in the morning to the tour to Rainbow Mountain, I took the trouble to unlock the lock of the entrance without a disgusting face. The staff were very kind and we had a very good stay. I was in the room on the 4th floor, but it was a little tight because it was a staircase. Other than that, there was no particular problem. The temperature and water pressure of the shower are OK."

"The room facilities are complete and the reception is warm. The staff even provided alcohol to facilitate our handling of the wound. The hotel is decorated in a simple and elegant environment. The breakfast is also good, mainly because it feels great to live in the backyard of the monastery."

"If you enjoy some quiet from the bustling city center, this place was perfect. Located 15 mins walk from the city center (it doesn’t feel that far honestly), the photos of the hotel are as shown in the pictures provided. The place is really clean and cosy. Giara liaises with the guests ensuring every need is covered. She and the team have been so lovely and helpful throughout. They do prepare packed breakfast for whenever we had to leave early for our tours. Absolutely enjoyed our time at the stay"

"Very good living experience. First of all, the location is very convenient. It only takes ten minutes to walk to the Sun Temple without turning around. The facade is ordinary but the rooms are very clean, with separate bathrooms, similar to the design of youth hostels, which makes the price/performance ratio quite high. Especially the hot water is very good. It is too comfortable to take a shower after a day of play. Unfortunately, there is no sofa in the room. The owner may want to chat together in the common room on the first floor. The most worth mentioning is that the owner and his wife are very nice, warm and considerate, and communicate in both English and Spanish. I am very relieved and comfortable living there. Pure hand-playing, five-star recommendation"
