"The hotel is right near Victoria Harbour. You can take a footbridge directly to the Avenue of Stars, which is just a few minutes away. It's also very close to the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station, and K11 and Harbour City are both within walking distance, making it super convenient. The only downside is that the room facilities are quite old and look a bit dirty."

"For Hong Kong, this hotel offers great value for money. It's much more comfortable after the renovation, and the location is excellent, just a few steps from the bar street. However, one of the staff members at the front desk was a bit perfunctory. When I asked her where the airport bus stop was, she just said, 'go straight down this road, and the first bus stop is it.' She didn't specify that for the airport, you need to cross the road to the bus stop on the other side. There are airport bus stops in both directions, and naturally, I assumed 'the first bus stop' meant the closest one. Luckily, a kind passerby told me I needed to cross the road for the airport, otherwise, getting on the wrong bus and wasting time would have been a huge hassle. Why work in customer service if you're going to be so unhelpful? A quick tip for everyone visiting Hong Kong: always bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste."

Situated in SKYCITY of Hong Kong International Airport, Regala Skycity Hotel is directly connected to AsiaWorld-Expo and 11 SKIES, a captivating retail, dining, and entertainment destination. With easy access to Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and Tuen Mun-Chek Lap Kok Link, the hotel provides unrivalled connectivity to the Greater Bay Area and Macau via land, and to the rest of the world via air. The hotel offers 1,208 guestrooms with comfortable and affordable luxury facilities and services that is ideal for MICE, weddings, social gatherings, staycations, as well as individual business and leisure travels. Each of the three restaurants with bars offer an array of exciting gastronomy experience curated by the passionate and dynamic team.

"Thanks to all the previous reviews, my check-in was very smooth. I stayed in a single room with one single bed and a sofa. Although the room was small, it was enough for one person. It seems like the double rooms just replace the sofa with another single bed. The hotel staff were excellent and very enthusiastic. I didn't encounter any unpleasant experiences. The facilities aren't particularly new. The bath towels were a bit frayed from washing. The toothpaste was surprisingly hard, like candy, which I wasn't used to. There's no drinking water provided in the room; you have to get it yourself from a designated spot. Hong Kong's environmental efforts are very thorough. It was very convenient to take the shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel, and then from the hotel to Disneyland and Tung Chung. I'd like to suggest to management that drivers announce the stops at each station, or have pre-recorded announcements in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese playing at each stop. Many people got off at the wrong stop on the way back from Tung Chung because the shuttle goes to the Regal Hotel first."

"Overall, I'm quite satisfied. The transportation is also convenient. The room type is a bit small, but that's typical for hotels in Hong Kong. The placement of the TV is a bit unreasonable, blocking the prime sea view. I suggest moving it to the other side of the wall."

"Stayed for 3 nights from November 21-24. I didn't find the location difficult to find; many bloggers on Xiaohongshu even have videos showing the way. It's about a 10-minute walk from Kwai Hing MTR station, and along the way, there are a few takeout food places and convenience stores, which I found quite convenient. Although the hotel isn't new, it's clean and tidy, with good soundproofing – I barely heard any noise. Every day when we went out, the housekeeping staff not only made our beds but also folded our pajamas. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation and disposable toothbrushes (but no comb). The bathroom was also odor-free and quite clean (I've encountered many hotels where the bathrooms had terrible smells!)."

A coffee lounge is located on-site.Fully equipped meeting rooms and a business center are available to guests to conduct any business related activities and events. To ensure a relaxing and pleasurable stay to all guests, quality massage, spa and sauna facilities are available as well as an outdoor swimming pool. For those keeping to a tight exercise schedule, a fully equipped gym is also on-site, where guests can break a sweat whilst taking in incomparable views of Hong Kong.According to Hong Kong Governments new law, Product Eco-responsibility (Amendment) Bill 2023, effective from 22nd April 2024, hotels are not allowed to provide disposable toiletries and in-room plastic bottled water to guests for free but can be provided upon request at a charge.

"Service: I booked a deluxe sea-view room and requested a non-smoking, high-floor room away from the elevator. I checked in at 11 AM, and the official check-in time was 3 PM. I was assigned a non-smoking, high-floor connecting room right next to the elevator. Upon discovering noise issues late at night, I discussed it with the hotel, and they upgraded me to an executive suite. Although it was on a lower floor, the suite's layout was right by the sea, offering unobstructed views, which I was very happy with. Environment: The Fortress Hill MTR/bus station is close to the hotel, making it convenient for getting around. The hotel is built along Victoria Harbour, providing unobstructed views, and the suite offered panoramic vistas. Facilities: The bathtub was incredibly satisfying; both in the standard room and the suite, it was a great way to relieve fatigue. The hotel's pool was excellent, though unfortunately, it was cloudy, so the water wasn't crystal blue, which made it less ideal for photos. Hygiene: Full marks for cleanliness, impeccable inside and out. I don't understand how picky some guests must be to give a lower rating... I stayed in three hotels during my six days in Hong Kong, and this was the best. A perfect end to my trip. Thumbs up."

JJulie_ZouFor my child's birthday, we opted for a family-themed room, and the entire 45th floor is dedicated to family suites! The moment the elevator doors opened, a whimsical mini train greeted us, instantly whisking us away to a fairy tale kingdom! There's a dedicated children's club offering dining, entertainment, and a variety of craft workshops daily! In fact, you could easily spend your entire stay without leaving the hotel, as it perfectly caters to all children's dining and entertainment needs, allowing parents to truly unwind. It truly gets a huge thumbs-up from us! We'll definitely be choosing Island Shangri-La Hong Kong again on our next visit!

SScl_sjThe environment here is excellent, located right above the Hopewell Centre at Wan Chai Station. There are two ways to get up: through the mall or via a dedicated hotel elevator. During peak hours, staff are available at the entrance of the Hopewell Centre to assist guests. We found it easily our first time following the clear signs. The price point, well, this is probably the best luxury hotel experience you can get in Hong Kong, haha. The staff's service attitude is also very good. There are a lot of international guests, so check-in can be a bit slower. The surrounding area features old Hong Kong streets, a wet market, and a snack street, offering a very authentic local vibe. You step right onto the main road, and it's close to the MTR station. However, there's a bit of a walk inside the MTR station itself, which can be a bit tiring if you're lugging luggage. Despite that, I still highly recommend it!

MM624408****The room was very spacious, equipped with a kitchenette and all the necessary dinnerware. The views were open and expansive. While the location might be a bit challenging for first-time visitors to Hong Kong, the hotel offers several complimentary shuttle services to and from Central daily. The Pedder Street shuttle stop is conveniently located at the bus station near Central MTR Exit D1. There's also a stop at IFC, but I haven't personally used it, so it's best to inquire with the hotel for specific boarding points. If you prefer taking public transport, from Admiralty Station Exit B, turn right for about ten meters onto Tamar Street, then turn right again and walk twenty meters to the bus stop for the 12A. It's only two stops to the hotel, at the 'YWCA' stop. From there, walk back about twenty meters to reach the hotel. When heading back to the hotel from Central, the 12A bus is also the best option. It will first go to Admiralty Bus Terminus and stop for a few minutes while the driver takes a break. You can simply wait on the bus; there's no need to purchase another ticket. I figured this out after staying for four days, as the 12A is a short circular route specifically designed for MacDonnell Road residents. Every time I queued at Admiralty, I'd see people already on board, leading me to conclude they had traveled from Central and were waiting to go up the hill back to MacDonnell Road.

But I managed to book via trip.com and stayed 3 nights, hotel receptionist lady is great providing me a room upgrade. One of the best hotel, big spacious and comfortable room which comes with a jacuzzi bathtub, with bathrobes, in-room iron, iron board, security safe, toiletries, all things I needed are available, is near to Jordan mtr just less than 2mins walk, single mtr line to mongkok, tst, admiralty/central stations, shops all nearby, western breakfast and food is delicious, plus there is a 24h self service laundry washer and dryer just outside the hotel, didn't try the gym which is in the Madare residence section in next building. Big 👍 for this hotel highly recommended.

Very tiny for a family of 3. Room was on the 3rd floor next to a 24-hour gym. Nothing to see outside of the window except a concrete wall. Equipped with hot water kettle, toiletries. GGeltokThe service was very good, and check-in was fast. The location of the hotel is great—close to the bus and tram stations, and the subway is also nearby. There are six elevators, so even though our room was on a high floor, it was very quick and easy to get there. The staff were friendly and spoke English. The pool is very nice; it’s big enough for swimming, and the view from the pool is also quite good.

AAnonymous UserFirst off, we tried to cancel our reservation because our child was unwell, but the hotel wouldn't budge. Luckily, our child recovered, so we came to Hong Kong. After checking in, we had a lot of luggage, and no concierge offered to help. The hotel also doesn't provide complimentary bottled water; you have to buy it yourself. Even extra toiletries cost money. They do have a free shuttle bus to Tsuen Wan Station and Tsuen Wan West Station, which is very convenient. We booked a sea view suite, and the view was indeed lovely. I've stayed here a few times before, but this was definitely my worst experience.

MM.Y.E.This is my 2nd time staying at this hotel. We really enjoyed our Hongkong trip because of this hotel's convenient location. We were able to shop, eat at good restaurants, and go on different adventures bec of the nearby train station. The K11 Art Mall is right across its entrance on Mody Road. The rooms were just right for 2 persons. The toiletries were complete and free except the toothbrush and shower cap which was part of the environment policy. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were even classified as soft or firm. There's also a water purifier which saved us from buying water at the convenience stores. We will stay here again if we return to Hongkong. Thank you Holiday Inn.
