Panda Hotel

The hotel's location is quite convenient. Although it's not close to a subway station, there's a shuttle bus service between Tsim Sha Tsui and the hotel. I saw on the official website that it also goes to Tsing Yi, but I'm not sure if that's true as the hotel staff didn't mention it. Right after checking in and getting to the room, I found a few hairs in the bathroom, suggesting it might not have been cleaned properly. However, considering the value for money, I'm still quite satisfied. I'm looking forward to the hotel's response! Also, I'd like to ask if it's possible to book the shuttle bus by phone? It would be quite inconvenient if I had to go to the hotel lobby every time to make a reservation.

I really don't understand why such an old hotel can charge 1400. My friends who visited said it was like a renovated guesthouse, small space, limited activity area, worse than a 3-star hotel. Something might have happened before, as I couldn't sleep soundly all night. The receptionist's service was terrible, acting like they didn't want to be there. They barely answered my questions, only saying what they were supposed to, and pretended not to hear me when I asked for more information, refusing to answer.

The hotel's location is excellent. There's a bus stop nearby with easy access to the airport and Citygate Outlets, which is very convenient. Downstairs, you'll find a wide variety of restaurants, a supermarket, and snack shops. They have a swimming pool, which is 1.5 meters deep, with a shallow end around 0.5 meters – pretty good! It's been recently renovated. I stayed here ten years ago, and while the facilities might seem a bit dated compared to then, it's still very good and convenient, bringing back a strong sense of nostalgia. The *cha chaan teng* (Hong Kong-style diner) is still delicious!

The room was quite spacious for the price and nicely decorated, plus it had a bathtub which was perfect for a soak after a long day of walking around. Having a large supermarket downstairs was really convenient for grabbing snacks. However, both the room and the common areas had a slightly strange smell.
