Empire Hotel Kowloon－Tsim Sha Tsui

Thanks to the hotel for allowing a late check-out. The swimming pool is still undergoing maintenance. There are some great local eateries nearby, like Tsui Wah Restaurant and Lok Tin Cafe, and it's within walking distance to shopping malls and popular attractions. You can also take the A21 bus directly to the airport. Although the room is small, it has everything you need. One thing to note is that during the check-out peak from 11 AM to 12 PM, the lobby can get incredibly crowded with hundreds of people – I'm not exaggerating. Most of them are mainland Chinese tourists. If you prefer more privacy and a quieter environment and mind the crowds, you might want to consider other options. However, if value for money is your top priority, this place is a great choice!

The romantic room was cozy, but the cleanliness was poor. I woke up with bug bites. The 19th-floor sea view room offered a partial view of the ocean. The bathroom shower drain was very slow, leaving my feet submerged in water. There was no desk, but it did have USB ports and a power adapter.

1. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui. It's about a 5-8 minute walk to the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station, Victoria Harbour, and the Avenue of Stars. It's also very close to Harbour City and K11 for shopping, and there are tons of options for dining out. 2. The room size is considered average for Hong Kong hotels, not overly cramped, and the overall cleanliness is decent. Toiletries are well-stocked. 3. The free luggage storage service is very convenient, allowing you to store your bags after check-out and go explore. 4. Front desk service is standard; most staff members are polite, and the check-in and check-out process is of normal speed.

I stayed here once on a business trip two years ago, so I'm quite familiar with the hotel. The service throughout the hotel is excellent; the customer service and restaurant staff are all very friendly. The gentleman who handles luggage storage is exceptionally kind. This time, for my four-night stay, the front desk gave me a high-floor room with a view of Victoria Harbour, which was fantastic. The breakfast was good, and the afternoon tea looked lovely, though I didn't have much time to try it. Thank you!

This place is really convenient. Right outside the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR exit, there's a street near Nathan Road with everything – food, entertainment, and shopping, especially a lot of gold shops. It's super convenient. We were with elderly folks and children, so the seniors bought Octopus cards for a 40% discount on transportation.

I chose the Empire Hotel Tsim Sha Tsui for my trip to Hong Kong this time, and the experience truly exceeded my expectations! I was lucky enough to get a free upgrade to a sea-view room. When I came back thirsty after a day out, they even provided free Ice Mountain mineral water. The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. After checking out, I was able to store my luggage for free, and when I returned to pick it up before leaving, I even received a Ferrero Rocher gift – the service was incredibly thoughtful. This hotel is perfect for exploring Hong Kong; I'll definitely choose it again next time!

The hotel room was on the smaller side, with a queen bed and a single bed pretty much filling up the space. Being on a higher floor, I couldn't hear any street noise, but I could clearly hear sounds from the hallway on the same floor. There was no shower in the room. The breakfast and afternoon tea spread was quite substantial and filling. The chicken wings at afternoon tea were particularly delicious. The hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of great food options right downstairs. It's about a 10-minute walk to the MTR station. You can take the Airport Express bus A21 directly towards Tsim Sha Tsui, get off at Nathan Road, and it's about a 10-minute walk to the hotel from there. Kowloon Park, near the hotel, is fantastic. It has a museum, an aviary, and a swimming pool, making it a great place to spend a whole day with kids. It was a shame that the hotel pool wasn't open. Be extra careful when taking a taxi to the hotel in Hong Kong. Always double-check your receipt and the taxi number; it's very easy to encounter drivers who overcharge, which is quite unpleasant.
