"I can only say that the facilities and environment are definitely not worth the price. At night, if you have poor eyesight, you can hardly see what's inside the house. There are only two small bedside lamps and a small table lamp in the whole room. It looks like a guesthouse from the 60s or 70s. It's hard to describe!"

"Checked in with Jeff very easy yet not very personable. Amenities extra $15/day even if you’re not using. Gym pool spa internet parking buffet breakfast. No disability parking in front door entrance only back (which was to far away from room) no help offered with luggage (only self service heavy push carts) Did not ask if I wanted help or if I was going to utilize these amenities. Room smelled of heavy use chemicals to clean room. (Could taste it). Ocean view claim with balcony was actually only seen if you walked and peered to the left. Bed not the most comfortable. Exit room door would slam at night very loud. Walk in tile shower floor slippery while showering and shower head had very low pressure."

"Our one-night stay at 12 Senses was exactly what we had hoped for: a beautiful, clean room, a quiet night of sleep, kind service, delicious breakfast. The “Fire” room is elegant, thoughtfully designed, beautifully appointed with a wool mattress and topper; great linens; a spotless tile floor, a gas fireplace (instead of a tv); and creative soundproofing - check out the recycled corrugated leather and felted wall….. The room came with lovely special touches: two bottles of Prosecco on ice and loose leaf chamomile tea that was fresh and delicious - chocolate, too. Wonderful coffee. Owner Anke has mastered green design as well as great hospitality. Although we didn’t make use of the rooftop lounge and open-air kitchen, they are beautiful and inviting. A more private location might have brought our stay to the next level, as the building sits on a well-traveled corner across from a school in a dense neighborhood. Nonetheless, the area was absolutely quiet the night we were there. Much gratitude and admiration for the vibe and beauty at 12 Senses!"
