Checked in with Jeff very easy yet not very personable. Amenities extra $15/day even if you’re not using. Gym pool spa internet parking buffet breakfast. No disability parking in front door entrance only back (which was to far away from room) no help offered with luggage (only self service heavy push carts) Did not ask if I wanted help or if I was going to utilize these amenities.
Room smelled of heavy use chemicals to clean room. (Could taste it).
Ocean view claim with balcony was actually only seen if you walked and peered to the left.
Bed not the most comfortable. Exit room door would slam at night very loud.
Walk in tile shower floor slippery while showering and shower head had very low pressure.

The hotel service is very good, you can upgrade to a sea view room for free, and breakfast is very considerate. However, there is an overnight parking fee, which is also acceptable because it is safer. The location of the hotel is very good, it is very convenient to go anywhere, I will go again next time

No hair dryer was prepared in our room. Room refrigerator was not working. Shower room spill lots of water.

Good hotel for price point. The room was big, clean, and nice with a decently sized balcony. If you get the room with 2 beds, the couch is a fold out that turns into a bed as well. Lots of sleeping room for a family.

Overall stay was good. The family and i stayed 4 nights. Location was great! Lots of eateries and shops nearby. Moonlight beach was down the street one of my favorites. We got the 2 queen bed with sofa bed. Room was huge. Looks like they updated the hotel recently but still in need of some updating. The shower had black mold along the tile and the fire sprinkler was covered in rust. Room had all hard floors no carpet which was dirty i recommended mopping. Overall stay was decent just need to work on little things.

Booked the Encinitan as my family was on holiday to visit Legoland. The room was spacious and accomodated a family of 5 which was great. However we ran into an issue with the sink and could not get it resolved in a timely manner - their maintenance person did not show up as expected. We asked to get switched to another room which they confirm while we were out but upon our return to the hotel no room was available to accomodate us - they had essentially sold out as it was a holiday weekend. So we were in a situation where our bathroom was unusable and there was no other alternative to get it resolved. While we resolved the situation by checking out early it wasn't the resolution we were hoping for.

Loved the bed, the view, cleanliness of the room, location of hotel.
Not a fan of the gal that checked us in, nor the lack of parking, also parking was awkward due limited space and the directional flow/layout of the parking lot.
