"We drove to Gannan and stayed here on the first night. The environment was nice. We went there late, and the boss left someone there to wait for us. I had a headache and nausea early the next morning, and my blood oxygen was only 80. I saw online that it might be altitude sickness. I wanted to ask the boss's wife for two bottles of oxygen to see if it could relieve it. Unexpectedly, the boss's wife was very considerate. While comforting us, she arranged for the staff to take us to the hospital for examination. It was very heartwarming when we were away from home. Thank you to the boss's wife and the ******* brother who took us to the hospital."

"This is great hotel and with a few minor improvements it could be an outstanding hotel. It's location couldn't be better as it is directly across the street from the entrance to the Longram Monastery and very near the main street. The hotel has an interesting ******* character and has its own good restaurant. We were assigned a very large and comfortable room. The staff were at all times friendly and welcoming. My minor complaints were the absence of any English speakers (admittedly an issue at almost all the hotels we have stayed at in China), the bathroom towels were a bit raged, and the internet connection was weak."

"It is highly recommended if the weather is not cold. The scenery outside is beautiful and the independent cabin is very quiet. It feels pretty good. It would be a waste to just stay one night without taking pictures😂
The cleanliness of the house is also okay. Sister Zang helped carry the suitcase when we arrived. They didn't speak Chinese and were very friendly.
They also have a restaurant. To be honest, I don’t recommend it. The yak meat is too thick and difficult to digest. The breakfast is not very recommended either."

"The room was small and poorly soundproofed; you could hear your neighbors talking. The toilet seat had fallen off, and there was no hairdryer in the room, making it inconvenient to wash your hair. The only downside was the beautiful courtyard, where you could relax in the evenings. Definitely avoid the restaurant next door!"

"I had a very pleasant stay in this friendly family-run hotel. Decorated in the colourful local ******* style, the place has all necessary amenities including a restaurant and a bar, to make it a comfortable all-in-one stay. Located on the doorstep of the key attraction - Labrang monastery - and right in the heart of the old town, by the little picturesque creek, it is an ideal base for exploring the surroundings. The staff are super helpful and would be eager to make all necessary arrangements for you such as local drivers, etc. The hotel owner is a local ******* man, and if you are lucky and he is around (they have another property in the nearby Sangke Grassland) ,he would be generous with his time passionately sharing his extensive knowledge of the region and China in general. Feel free to ask for some suggestions and routes, as the owner and his Dutch wife also used to run a travel agency). And a small tip (based on my experience): give it an extra day or two for your body to adapt to the high altitude, to fully enjoy this special place!"

"I brought my family here for a camping trip in the grasslands, and I was initially worried about the primitive conditions, but it far exceeded my expectations. The surrounding grasslands offer expansive views, fresh air, and a tranquil, quiet environment. The cleanliness was also impeccable; even the corners were spotless. The facilities are comprehensive, with a resting deck and viewing equipment, and there's an open space for kids to play. Both adults and children had a wonderful time here. The staff were exceptionally thoughtful; knowing we had elderly family members, they proactively reminded us about high-altitude precautions and even brought us hot water. Their service was meticulous. They only provide breakfast and dinner, which made both dining and staying very convenient."

"The rooms are well equipped and the room service and restaurant service are satisfactory. Two problems: First, the room temperature was too high, about 30 degrees, and there was no temperature control. I reported this to the hotel, and they said that the heating temperature in Xiahe is always that high and the hotel cannot control it. We opened the windows and drew the curtains, but didn't dare turn on the lights because there was a hotel across the street. We couldn't fall asleep in bed at all. It felt like we were in a scorching hot room with no ventilation or air conditioning. It was minus 14 degrees outside, but it was suffocatingly hot inside! We, an elder who was almost 70 years old, had to travel the next day, so we didn't sleep the whole night and just endured the scorching heat."

"We stayed three nights at Nirvana Resort in early July and loved our time there. Spectacular location, the grasslands are alive with flowers and birds, and everyone at Nirvana was kind and helpful. We had our own car (ideal if possible) and alongside visiting Labrang Monastery and walking in the nearby hills, we also enjoyed driving around the backroads into Qinghai and immersing ourselves in the landscape. At the end of each day it was perfect to climb the hill to the Sky Bar and drink a beer while watching the land grow dark."

GGuest UserEnvironment: The geographical environment of the camp is in a grassland pastoral area. It is far away from the main road and is not noisy. It is in a quiet corner, but it is very convenient to drive by yourself. The accommodation environment is great in the pastoral area when traveling with children and family. There is a fireplace in the room, it is warm in October, and the bathroom in the room is clean. tidy. In the morning, there were cows and lambs grazing outside the window looking at us inside the house. The children were greatly surprised. The door of the room opens to the private creek, grassland and mountains. Where to stay is also part of the trip.
Food: One-price all-inclusive breakfast and dinner, so you don’t have to worry about finding food everywhere. There is an unlimited buffet in the morning and evening. The fried chive pancakes for breakfast and the yak beef hot pot for dinner are amazing. The beef is unlimited and tastes great. The complimentary small pizza with cheese has a unique taste and becomes more and more delicious the more you eat it. Think about it, it should be cheese made from ******* milk. I didn’t have a chance to eat again after I left. There is unlimited tea, snacks, fruits, whatever you want to eat in the campground. The lady is afraid that you are not full, and you can also make your own tsampa experience.
Service: The camp housekeepers, ladies and brothers, are full of enthusiasm, warm atmosphere, and family-like service. In the evening, we will drink, sing and dance together over the bonfire. If you just visit the grassland in a hurry, it will only take you half a day to see it, but you can live in a pastoral area without compromising the quality of life. You don’t have to force yourself to live a life that you are not used to. You can also make a pot of tea and enjoy the deserted grassland leisurely, see the lambs up close, and Everyone in the camp drank, chatted and had a bonfire carnival together. The experience is worth it~

Guests receive a traditional ******* scarf (khata) upon check-in and can participate in sheep and cattle herding activities. Dinner can be booked in advance, with options like hot pot and ******* set meals for 300 RMB for two people. Light meals are available throughout the day, and dine-in customers receive a 20% discount. Breakfast offers both Western and Chinese options. Enjoying breakfast outside with the view is a real treat. A wonderfully surprising and delightful place. Quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended! Excellent value for money!

You can drive into the scenic spot by yourself after you set up a scenic spot. The experience is superb. EEl_doradoThe homestay is very close to Labrang Temple. It is not very easy to find the first time in the deep alley. The staff of the homestay are very warm and simple, and they came to pick us up.
Her home wins in the design of the public area, which combines traditional Tibetan elements such as Tangka, yak horn door handles, bronzeware and modern trend design. The overall style has both Tibetan style and fashion sense, and the photo is very popular. The dining area also has a bar, adding some experience to the guests. The staff are Tibetans, the service is very intimate and humble, people can't help but want to be close to them.
The store helped me upgrade to a suite. It was clean, but the facilities needed to be further improved. It was mainly the bathroom area. This was basically a common problem of the hotel, design problems, the direction of the sewer and the tilt of the plane did not pay attention, so there was water seepage. Hot water can not be washed together because it is electricity, and it needs to wait.
Breakfast is a bit too simple, there is no microwave, so the rolls are cold and cannot be heated. Soy milk is very light and you need to pay extra for coffee. So the meal may not meet our expectations and not worthy of this price.

The rain stopped an hour later and the temperature dropped to 4 degrees in an instant. Thank you to the electrician for repairing the electricity and allowing us to stay there. After eating hot pot on the prairie night, my whole body felt warm. There is heating in the Starry Sky House, but I was worried that it would still be rainy the next day. Unexpectedly, I woke up at 7 o'clock in the morning and saw the groundhog that I missed so much. I fed him snow cakes and apples, and they clicked in front of you. It was so healing, and the sun slowly came out. , the temperature has also increased, grassland, blue sky, white clouds. The housekeeper is also very enthusiastic.
