Without any frills, 40 Nudos offers good service, with a comfortable bed, heating, a clean room and bathroom, and an unbeatable location for a reasonable price. As our plane left after check-out, they let us store our bags at reception until our departure to the airport. Highly recommended for exploring the city centre."

"We started for the third consecutive year of the North Road, which we interrupted in Avilés in 2018 where we hosted at the Villalegre hotel. This year, we have chosen the Serafín Pension, which belongs to the same owner and are both neighborhoods, so that the hotel's reception also serves the pension. Old beds, small towels, old furniture yh broken, dressing boxes without sticks and sleeved ...Finally a bad decision, I repeat"

"We stayed here for our last four nights in Avilés, and if I'd known how good it was, I would have chosen it for the start. It was almost the same price as our first, less good hotel too. Huge beautiful bedroom and bathroom, cute view and small jacuzzi in the standard room. The location was perfect. Close to all the bars, city center and station. Nice bar to have drinks in. The staff was okay, totally okay, but not that interested, except for the guy handling breakfast; he felt really professional and made me feel very welcomed. Too bad there was too much noise to actually have breakfast though, rest of the staff were slammering dishes like there was no tomorrow. Maybe it was just a bad day though. We will come back every time, we were very satisfied."

"The breakfast was varied and the cafeteria where you have breakfast was very well maintained, well decorated, very original, the boy was attentive and replenished what was missing. The lady who helped me at the reception was a little dry but very responsible and friendly, she let me make a call, she was flexible. The dinner at the cider house was very good, I expected it to be in the same hotel, but moving a few meters was even pleasant, there is a lot of dinner, yes, I had to order tapas to take away and there is a refrigerator in the room, so good. The room was clean and the bathroom had a very nice bathtub. There is split air that you can use for cold or heat. "

"Best deal you can get ! Room had a strong 90s touch but was clean, very comfortable and in good condition. Perfect soundproof. Not a luxury hotel, but a very reliable place. Close to the Camino de Santiago and 15 minutes walk from Niemeyer Center. Plenty of bars and nice terraces closeby. Would happily recommend this hotel."
