The location is very strategic, only 10 minutes walking to kunming railway station, and very easy to find food, convinient store, and near to city centre and some tourist attraction. The room clean, huge and complete amenities.

The hotel lobby was pleasant, with a reading corner. We were given a free room upgrade; the room was clean, spacious and had a huge firm bed (good back support). There is even a tea brewing set in-room. Our main gripe was this building seems to be shared with other hotels/offices so the lifts were a little run down and took a long time to arrive at our floor (we stayed at level 25). Overall, this place is quite value-for-money, comfortable, and had ample space in room to open 3-4 big luggages. However, if you’re rushing to catch a didi etc, do allocate a few more minutes for the lift to arrive at your floor.

Very convenient for the sight seeing. The room is spacious and elegant decorated with the deep green and brown color. Comfortable and satisfactory!! The restaurant opens at 7:30 a.m. If they could offer the breakfast a little bit earlier, we would more happy.

Everything from my arrival to Shangri-la, to the point of checking in, arranging transport for my itinerary, checking out, ferrying me to the train station, just one word - Impeccable. Customer service is outstanding, their interiors are beautifully designed, and complements well with the architecture of the building as well as the greater plains of Napa sea. They have a myriad of farm and domesticated animals which are incredibly docile, well tempered, and playful so you can tell they are well treated in here. I was at first skeptical of booking this as it's a little expensive and as a solo traveler, i'm incredibly easygoing. However, the standard of service, the majestic morning scenery, cute companions, complimentary evening desserts and hot milk, made everything worth the penny. I even got a free upgrade of my room because they said my original booking had no views 😂, and I was incredibly grateful for the complimentary upgrade. I'm a heavy eater so the light hearty breakfast wasn't exactly to my liking (but I could use some healthy balance once in a while 🤣) To each of their own. The staffs went out of their way to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible, in which I commend them for it. I will definitely be coming back to Shangri-la in the near future and will not be considering any other accommodation except for theirs! 多谢你们的慷慨之心，里思漫的员工们！

Atour was centrally located among all popular touristy places. Close to shopping malls, 南强夜市，南平街！The room was clean and comfortable. Good size and all amenities are provided. Housekeeping ladies were very friendly too! Good job to them. Front desk was helpful and responsive to my requests. Easy to flag a cab to get off and also alight. Given the chance, Will like to stay at Atour Light Residence Hotel again!

Thank you for the super friendly and helpful staff, who at 2am helped me get settled into my room. With a short transit layover, the regular airport shuttle service that they provide was so very helpful.

Beautiful hotel in a small pedestrian street that is about 10 mins walk to the shopping area and another 10 mins walk from there to the old street. The hotel rooms are beautifully decorated and the heaters and powerful enough to keep us warm. The hotel staff were very considerate and helpful and fed us well with their breakfast, teatime and even supper, all of which comes with every stay. Other activities include wearing traditional costumes and calligraphy, which we didn’t get to enjoy due to time constraints. Absolutely stunning architecture and interior design.

I had the most incredible stay at Shangri-la Runjing Muqi B&B. The moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a serene atmosphere that instantly made me feel at home. The property is beautifully designed, blending traditional aesthetics with modern comforts, offering a perfect retreat from the hustle of daily life. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully decorated, reflecting the local charm of Shangri-la. The attention to detail was remarkable—from the soft linens to the carefully curated amenities that added a touch of luxury to my stay. What truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by the owner of the inn. She was incredibly kind and accommodating, even offering to pick me up from the train station and drop me off when I left, which was a huge help as the B&B is located about 25 minutes from the town and getting a Didi can be a bit challenging in the area. The inn doesn’t have elevators, only a staircase, but the staff were so attentive—they carried my luggage up and down for me, ensuring I didn’t have to worry about a thing. The location is perfect for exploring the serene beauty of Shangri-la. Nearby attractions include Potatso National Park, Songzanlin Monastery, and Dukezong Ancient Town, as well as a nearby horse ranch, where you can dress in traditional ******* costumes and ride across the scenic grasslands. The on-site breakfast was delicious, with fresh, locally sourced options that made each morning a delight. Overall, Shangri-la Runjing Muqi B&B offers an unforgettable experience. Very satisfied with the hotel services, especially the airport shuttle arrangement to pick us very early in the morning around 4.30am. Hotel is very clean and most importantly is smoke free inside our room.

We really like this hotel, excellent hotel & excellent staffs. the staffs were really helpful, and very nice. They gave free upgrades to our room. They allowed us to keep our luggages after check out because our flight is at night and rewarded us with late check out. The location is very convenient located downtown near shopping malls & lots of halal restaurants for muslim. The metro station is just outside the hotel. The room itself was really clean and well-maintained. Definitely will stay here again in future. I’ve already recommended this hotel to my friend on my Instagram!

Hotel room is huge, nice & exquisite. Toilet/Bath/Carpet looks dated though in the room. Lady boss is friendly, serve us hot tea upon check in and gives tips & advice to Yulong mountain. There is no bkf available as their cook has left urgently since Oct due to family issue. The boss packed some bread, milk & candy for us on 1st day and refunded some cash to us for 2nd day bkf. Good location to walk to Lijiang Old town and full of restaurants + convenient store along the street.

The hotel is just a few steps away from 黑龙潭。I have received a free upgrade for the room to moutain view. The interior deco of the hotel is unique, and the breakfast area is at level 6 with a mountain view. Though it's next to a small lane where the vehicle passed through, the noise is minimal and does not affect my resting. The room is spacious and clean. Staff is attentive, helpful, and kind. On the day of my checkout, I received a souvenir from the reception. Am thankful for the thoughtfulness. Highly recommend this hotel.

Love the location of hotel which is surrounded by many shops, big supermarket and eateries. In front of hotel is an underground mall and food street linking to ancient city and Big Waterwheel. Hotel lobby is spacious. Room is comfortable and breakfast is good too. Staff are helpful and especially good service by Ms Luo. We are happy with our 3 nights stay at Atour Dashuiche.

Excellent hotel, great views of the snow mountain and super friendly staff! 10/10 would recommend. The balcony has great views and the hotel decoration is very appealing! Will definitely come back again just for the location and views. They also have very healthy breakfast options that is great for digestion. We have spent four unforgettable nights in this hotel in Lijiang. Situated within the old town and surrounded by numerous shops and restaurans, this hotel has all the modern amenities and yet retains its original characters. We chose a room by the creek and totally enjoyed it. We often sat by the window and soak in the beautiful scenery and people watching. Service was top notch. We were treated like family from day one. They often checked on us to make sure we were doing well. So much that I wanted to share but to keep it short, we can’t wait to come back again to this beautiful hotel.

We stayed l 3 nights at Manty House (2 people - we spent 2 nights in the regular cheaper room and our last night in the larger room with bathtub). The first thing I have to note is how amazing the service was by Matthew (owner/host) who also spoke English. Not only did he meet us at the parking area to help us with bags, he also helped us book ALL tickets to visit jade dragon snow mountain (via the real website and not through 3rd party people) which made our trip to the mountain effortless- he also helped us to organise a driver to take us there and wait for us, which was competitively priced compared to hiring a DiDi driver each way. Additionally, on our last day, we had to check-out early and Matthew met us to help take our luggage’s and packed us some breakfast too. Top service! The rooms themselves were clean, a little bit older than the photos shown, much preferred the larger room which seemed to be more newly renovated, however very good value for money otherwise. Our bookings included breakfasts which had sweet potato, eggs, rice congee and scallion pancake selection. Conveniently there was a breakfast cafe next door to Manty house that made heavenly wontons and dumplings with soy bean milk. Good location, close to an exit to visit outside of ancient town, but also only a few mins walk straight down to the central square. Overall, highly recommend for the service alone. Great location and enjoyable stay!

How i imagine staying with family would be like. Located in a quiet part of bustling Lijiang Ancient Town, front of house rode a bicycle cart to the south gate to pick up our luggage on arrival, prepared warm sweet soup (晚安甜汤) every night, welcomed us back from a day of touring with rose tea (花茶) and provided a simple daily breakfast. The room was well appointed with a smart home system that was very fun to use, and premium products like a dyson hairdryer and smart toilet with automatic washlet.

We have 3 accommodation booking in this trip, and Lijiang Anlu is definitely the best!! From the warm welcome with a complimentary train station pick-up to the luggage carrying service from where the car-stop to the hotel, I already impressed by all the hotel staff. Not to mention when I entered the room which was a hundred percent correct compared to the photos I had seen before. The bed is electrical warmed. The floor is heated. The water temperature is high. The smart toilet is cool. The room is equipped with everything a good hotel should be. I even plan to buy the same hair dryer in the room as it was a very good quality. In addition, the complimentary tea session provided is such an impressive experience before I went to bed and freshly woke up to have the best hotel breakfast for the whole trip. Furthermore, the view from the breakfast spot was breath-taking. The staff also helped me to carry my luggage wand waked to the parking place after checking out. I highly recommended everyone to experience the best services by yourselves. I would definitely stay in Lijiang Anlu again if I have an opportunity to be back to Lijiang again.

Setting this location as a base for our stay in Lijiang provided such a tranquil moment as it overlooks a reservoir and the snow mountain. Beautiful room with a tub that we enjoyed during our stay. All staff were very helpful and provided help to purchase tickets to attraction, meals and even helped to purchase a Monocular from the meitu as we do not have a local number. We were also treated to a tea session at the premises. Such a wonderful time. Thank you for the excellent hospitality provided.

It was near a busy road so there was slow traffic before we reached the hotel. There are eateries and restaurants nearby and a bus stop 2 street away. We are able to view Jade Dragon on clear days even on 3rd floor. The room was a spacious, clean, comfortable bed. Basic amenities are provided in the room. What i like best is the laundry room free for use, especially helpful when we stayed for many days. It has a good spread of breakfast with good mix of local delicacies and western food.

Super friendly staff who recommended nice dinner places. Room is a bit small, but this hotel is located in the ancient city, so it is understandable. There is construction going on at the main street outside the hotel, so you have to pull your luggage across a few alleys. Breakfast not included.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay here! Our family of six occupied two rooms and felt right at home. The excellent location ensured quiet nights, and we all slept soundly. The top-notch service was impressive - fast, friendly, and attentive. The staff even prepared our bedrooms for rest and sleep in the evenings. Mealtimes were delightful, with delicious breakfast and tea breaks. We were also treated to nighttime desserts. To unwind, we relaxed with a soothing foot bath infused with rose petals and herbs. The hotel is very beautiful. We chose a room with a view of the beautiful Erthai Lake. The room is very large and has all the amenities. In addition, the reception team provided excellent service, informing us about the pick-up from the train station. When we arrived, there was a shuttle to carry our luggage. All the services were impressive. If anyone is looking for a room with a beautiful view, I recommend this place. We liked it very much. I give 5 Stars 👍

Wonderful experience stay at this quiet place. They provide free pick up from train station for 2 nights consecutive stay. Very warm hospitality and friendly host. The host share with us Dali attractions route during our arrival. The place is near to the old town, five mins walking distance. There is steep slope when you walk back to the place. The room is clean and tidy with smart home facility. There are mineral water provided in the room, mini bar in the room also had the mineral water and cold drinks. There are delicious afternoon tea, flower biscuit, night dessert and rice noodles for breakfast. Forgot to take picture of breakfast. The tea and coffee are really good. Highly recommend this place if you come to Dali.

A very thoughtful hotel. Mom and I had a great relaxing stay at this hotel. The employees are all very thoughtful. When we head out we would ask for a bottle of water but the sweet girls will always ask if we need more because they see it’s the two of us. The sea view rooms have views of Erhai at a distance but we still enjoyed watching the clouds dance through the sky with the lake and mountains. The rooms are big and clean too. Highly recommend this hotel for people wanting to stay near Dali’s ancient town.

beautiful lodging with amazing view of Erhai and the mountains. Morning view is unreal. butler Xiao Du 小杜 was very attentive and helpful, always responsive when approached. Other hotel staff were also very sweet and attentive, preparing breakfast for us to takeaway as we have to check out early to get the train. Only thing to note is the no. Of insects from the sea that will be attracted to the light in the room. Nothing the hotel can do as its nature, but Xiao Du will remind you to keep the doors closed at night so that the flies don’t come in.

The room is hygienic and clean. The location is very good. The breakfast is also delicious. The service is very friendly. Help with luggage when you arrive at the door.

A new property. Friendly & cheerful service staff. Very accommodating. Hotel is 6 minutes walk along the main road to the Old Town. I stayed on the 3rd floor, no lift. The sitting area by the window give a nice feel. But if you have problems with stairs, make sure to request for room on level 1. Nice room with good facilities. Comfortable bed is a plus. Highly recommended.
