Yuntang Luxury Resort Hotel Dali

I stayed here for 3 nights, and it truly felt like a home away from home. On the first day, I took a taxi from Dali High-Speed Railway Station. After getting out, I looked around but still couldn't find the guesthouse. Left with no other choice, I called the guesthouse's front desk, and a female staff member answered. I asked her for directions and how to get there. Before I could finish, she appeared behind me. It turned out I was right at the entrance of the guesthouse's alley, but the sign wasn't very noticeable. Without a word, she helped us with our luggage, which I felt bad about but was also very touched by. Afterward, she helped us check in and then meticulously explained all the facilities and important notes. The entire guesthouse's environment and design are absolutely beautiful, perfectly matching the pictures on the platform. The amenities in the room completely exceeded my expectations. It felt like they had brought everything from home here; almost anything you could want was provided. The pillows came in both soft and firm options, which completely solved any sleep issues. What impressed me the most was how truly slip-resistant the bathroom floor was. As for the staff, they are a group of energetic young people who provided excellent service. Regarding breakfast, although the choices weren't extensive, everything was prepared with care and provided a perfectly hearty meal to start the day. Finally, a small suggestion: there's a small step at the room entrance. I recommend putting up a 'caution: step' sign or some other small reminder to prevent guests from tripping and falling. The location is superb, right next to the ancient city, about a 5-minute walk. Despite the bustling ancient city, the B&B has excellent facilities, including both a humidifier and a dehumidifier, so you're covered whether it's dry or humid. The decor is also great; it's quite nice to just relax inside when it's raining.

The hotel's location is excellent, right within the ancient city, making it convenient to go anywhere. The hotel environment is very comfortable, with a small courtyard, a rooftop garden, and a dedicated reading space. The facilities are also very new. What's particularly commendable is the exceptional cleanliness, which is quite rare for a B&B. The breakfast is also very enjoyable; sometimes they serve rice noodles, other times a savory congee with粑粑 (a type of local pancake), along with corn, fruit, sweet potatoes, coffee, and more. Everything tastes delicious. Overall, I highly recommend this place. It's truly a great stay.
