The staffs at counter desk were courteous, polite and well mannered and willing to go the extra mile to help by changing the room for me. Even the hotel cleaners were very courteous and well mannered which i appreciated them very much. This hotel has welcome self service drinks. I arrived too early for checkin and they accept my baggage and placed them behind their counter and gave me a reference tag for my baggage for security reason by so by matching the tag which i feel confident placing my baggage with the hotel.

The hotel is very strategically located at one of the most scenic area of NapaSea, and is very clean, well kept. The counter service is great too, they even upgraded our rooms to a bigger, scenic room for free!!! And, they provided free shuttle service from the railway station (or can claim back from them by showing the bill). The room itself, has heating service, oxygen supply, and is super roomy and clean. I checked in on New Year's Eve and felt full of enthusiasm. As soon as I entered the door, I was fascinated by the exquisite traditional ******* space, and then the handsome Tashi presented Hada. The whole experience felt like I had come to a family with very good service. The beautiful room was equipped with comfortable floor heating, which made people feel that they had come to a hotel. There were good night snacks and milk before going to bed. Because it was the New Year, I also experienced a bonfire party, drank rice wine cooked by the boss's wife, and set off fireworks together. I got up early the next day to experience a special ******* breakfast. I am very happy to have the opportunity to choose this special hotel. Thank you to the staff for making our trip unforgettable, Tashi Delek!

The hotel was in the heart of the old town which was very convenient, however, what they offered on the website and what we saw in person were two different images. Our room was far removed from the lobby and in a remote area under construction. We had to request to change rooms to the main building and pay an extra fee of $50. In other words, what they showed on the site did not match reality. The hotel should specify that some rooms are subject to be located far from the main lobby and breakfast lounge and in a seemed abandoned construction. Don't be fooled by the price!

Service starts two days before check-in. WeChat confirmed the arrival date and time and asked how many suitcases there were. This time we have four people and four suitcases. The B&B directly sent an SUV to pick us up at the high-speed rail station. Very thoughtful. The tea seat in the lobby, the big dog, the reeds in the yard, and the osmanthus tree in the independent courtyard of the room immediately make people feel the characteristics of a designer B&B. The room is large, with two large single beds, and the bedding is pure cotton and soft. The most commendable thing is the air conditioner, bathroom heater, and hot water. These are the perfect match for Shangri-La in winter. We stayed in Dali and Lijiang all the way. No hotel can produce such hot water in one minute. The staff at the B&B were very friendly and recommended regular car charter services. They did not officially recommend other restaurants or travel photography. To a certain extent, I respect their professionalism more. It feels like this is a B&B that is dedicated to the hotel business. Forgot to mention, the hot milk and fruit served upon entering the door are very considerate.

It was a memorable NYE for me, had some drinks and chitchat with the other guests/staff by the fireplace, could see the fireworks and the view of Shangri-La old town from the 2nd floor. 阿英 was kind enough to upgrade me to the bigger room, provided an external heater as the floor heater would take some time, and sent our luggage to 北门. I wouldn’t mind climbing up some stairs but may not be ideal for some other people. Overall, I do love this place, it gave me the vibe of the mysterious Shangri-La.

I am really grateful to the sister of the homestay. On the last day of flying to Lhasa, I forgot my glasses at the homestay. She helped me find them. I called a taxi to send them to the airport! Every day when I went out to play and returned to the homestay, it was like returning home. I stayed for 4.5 days. Every day I drank tea and ate melon seeds downstairs. The sister was very nice. I also talked to her about my marriage life. We chatted with each other and felt very close. She helped me take my luggage down from the 3rd floor and sent it to the intersection. Oh my god, it was so happy! And the room on the 3rd floor can see the prayer wheel when you lie down. Don’t be too happy. This price is really worth it! Oh, it snowed the next day. Looking out of the room, the snow view is invincible! The room is also very large and clean. I added an electric blanket, which is very comfortable!

We were traveling with our family. We had some altitude sickness when we arrived. We checked in and rested. The hotel facilities were quite complete. The next day we went to Songzanlin Temple and Napa Sea Scenic Area, so we got up early in the morning and checked out after breakfast. The breakfast was indeed not very tasty. If you have high requirements, don't consider it. We had eggs, corn, soybean milk, white rice porridge, fried dough sticks and sponge cakes, and just ordered some pickles to fill our stomachs. The hotel is 5-10 minutes' drive from Dukezong Ancient Town. There is an underground parking lot free of charge.

The boss really runs the B&B with great care. I had a great time here on New Year's Eve last year, and I came here again on New Year's Day this year. Every time I come here, I feel like I'm at home. If you also like traveling and making friends, you can come here to drink tea and chat with the boss and the guests in the lobby on the first floor! I love the atmosphere here! This is my favorite B&B among all the B&Bs I've stayed in. The chefs here cook really delicious food! I personally think the best dishes in Shangri-La are made by the B&B here! Super fragrant

From Kunming-Dali-Lijiang-Shangri-La, the last stop, this is the best homestay I have ever stayed in. Before checking in, the homestay staff pulled the housekeeper group and asked me in advance what time I would arrive in Shangri-La to arrange a special car to pick me up. We were received by a very handsome male housekeeper, who was super super super nice! After sending us to the room, he also introduced the facilities and equipment in the room and how to use them, and also recommended restaurants for locals. Now many five-star hotels may not be so considerate, so this price is really worth it! I was not feeling well on the first day in Shangri-La, so I ordered medicine, but the takeaway was delivered to the wrong homestay and was taken by guests of other homestays. At first, I was thinking about sending a message to the housekeeper to see if I could pay for the errands to help pick it up. Unexpectedly, the little brother refused my errand fee and went to another homestay to get my medicine back very enthusiastically. When people are vulnerable, I feel that there is such a considerate person. It’s really touching~ This is the first time I have written a review for a homestay so sincerely, especially the homestay is very affordable, but the hardware and service are of high quality. It is worth recommending to every friend around me who comes to Shangri-La!

Pro: Room can see beautiful scenery. Very remote and breath taking view. This is what one pays for. Need to improve: Front desk service non-Existence, need training and improvements. We had a confirmed time with front desk for hotel staff /driver to take us to the designated scenic spots in the hotel vicinity. This was included as part of accommodation package. Late at night, front desk contacted and informed us that the previously agreed and confirmed starting time would have to be delayed by 1 hour, to ‘suit other guests’. Firstly, front desk previously confirmed scenic spot visits were one-to-one but was changed/combined with another big group of guests. Secondly, why was confirmed appointment time changed to suit other guests? We were guests too, and all guests must be treated equally. At the end, through our insistence, the original confirmed time was honoured by front desk, but our treatment by front desk staff is totally unacceptable

The inn is located near the north gate of the ancient city. Cars can drive to the door and there is a small parking lot. After chatting with the boss for a while, I learned that the boss loves freedom too much. He closed the store and went out to play since October last year. He only came back to renovate the inn in March this year. When we came in to ask about the room, they were planting flowers. I love this yard too much. The boss also planned the travel route for my friends and told them about some cultural colors here. Beijing girls are really good at chatting! Next time my friends come, I will recommend them to stay here!
