Our friend is a loyal fan of Xilinyuan and insisted to stay here. As a result, he suffered from altitude sickness as soon as he arrived in Shangri-La. Hahaha, I enjoyed it for him. When I first chose the B&B, I thought its location was not perfect and the price was a bit high, but after checking in, I felt it was worth it! Because it has a lot of experience projects, including bird watching, stargazing, ******* home visits, etc., which are paid and unpaid. Staying here for a day will not be boring at all, and it will even be fulfilling and meaningful. We signed up for the bird watching experience. At 7 o'clock in the morning, the teacher took us to Napahai to watch the migration of migratory birds. As a result, we also saw the colorful clouds and Rizhao Caishen Mountain at the same time! What a surprise! ! I was so lucky! ! The service of the B&B is also very good. They gave us medicine for our friends who suffered from altitude sickness, and sent us hot milk and delicious cheese at night. It felt as comfortable as living at home~

Hotel Khimtsang mixes traditional and modern designs in a minimalist style. The room has floor heatings, bed is firm and comfortable with warm fluffy duvets, shower is hot and strong with heating lights for the cold weather. But what truly makes this hotel special is the people. The hotel owners and staff all go out of their way to make guests feel comfortable. They have been extremely hospitable and kind to me as a solo traveller. I felt very welcomed at Hotel Khimstang as they took extra care to ensure I was well adjusted. This will definitely be my hotel of choice if I came back to Shangri-La again.

The transportation is convenient, the facilities are complete, the environment is comfortable, and the services are in place. It was my first time to go to Shangri-La and stayed at this hotel. The owner was very welcoming and we became friends after staying there once.

The location of the B&B is excellent, there is a square downstairs, the towels in the room are disposable, which is very suitable for B&Bs. The environment is also comfortable and relaxed, it is the leisurely and cozy style of Shangri-La, and there are kittens. The boss is easy-going and is a young man born after 1995. I originally booked only one night, but I felt good and extended the room.

The inn is located near the north gate of the ancient city. Cars can drive to the door and there is a small parking lot. After chatting with the boss for a while, I learned that the boss loves freedom too much. He closed the store and went out to play since October last year. He only came back to renovate the inn in March this year. When we came in to ask about the room, they were planting flowers. I love this yard too much. The boss also planned the travel route for my friends and told them about some cultural colors here. Beijing girls are really good at chatting! Next time my friends come, I will recommend them to stay here!

Nice location in the old city, near Gui Shan. Breakfast is simple but satisfying, changes every day. Free sweet soup in the evening was a nice touch. The room was on two storeys which was cool, beds upstairs and TV/shower downstairs, quite convenient (but no wardrobe). Baidu map took us to the wrong location so be careful, but after a call to Ctrip the owner came to pick us up (also willing to take us to the main gate when we left). If you have suitcases best to call them for a pick up as the streets in the old city are bumpy. Nice terrace on the second floor, spent a lot of time sitting there looking out over Gui Shan and the city (some photos below). Overall a very nice experience.

A Tibetan-style hotel, I will stay here every time I go to Shangri-La. Convenient parking and close to the ancient city. Quiet, very quiet, a good night's sleep! The bedding is very comfortable, and the wet and dry bathrooms are separated. This time it was the Dragon Boat Festival, and the hotel was very considerate and gave us rice dumplings (heated). It was so thoughtful, I have to like it👍 The fatigue on the road will be healed here, and I will choose to stay here in the future!

Environment: The location is really remote. It is difficult to get a taxi. We have to rely on chartered cars to survive. The biggest problem of not chartering a car is that we have to eat dinner at the hotel. If we eat in the ancient city, it is difficult to get a taxi back at night. Although it is on the Napa Sea, we can't get in. There is a horse farm nearby. Napa Sea is just a place to look at and take pictures from the outside. It is quite close to the Gate of Heaven. Facilities: Maybe the business is very bad in the off-season. Cost reduction. The building that was originally quite decent to check in was closed. We changed to check in on the first floor of the residential building next to it. There are some steps when going out. If you have heavy luggage, you need to carry it. When checking in, there was an old man to help carry the luggage. When leaving, the girl at the front desk said to help carry it, but it was embarrassing to let him do it. [When I first checked in, I was given a Hada with a sense of ceremony. The result was more outrageous. When the room was cleaned, it was taken back without telling us! Moreover, the Hada was of very poor quality. I couldn't find it for a long time when I checked out on the third day. It's outrageous that this happened in a five-star hotel...] When we arrived at the hotel at night, there were no street lights on. It was raining heavily, and we had to use flashlights to walk It's called a hotel, but it can be regarded as a homestay. It doesn't deserve the five-star rating. If I had to do it again, I would rather choose Moonlight Inn

What an amazing place… the couple runs this place so wonderfully. The husband helps us to go to wonderful places. He drove us to see beautiful place and one remote place called bottomless lake . He brought his little daughter and there cute dog . We loved every minute of our stay . Important to mention that many scenic places in Shangri La has dangerous roads but the hotel owner drive us very careful and was very sensitive to our need’s. I really recommended this hotel to foreigners even though we didn’t speed Chinese and they didn’t speak English we had everything we needed. The owner couple are wonderful people and they keep a very clean modern home stay ! Highly recommended for a fantastic home stay and experience! My son was sad to say goodbye

Let's talk about the room first. It's really tasteful. The design style makes people feel very comfortable. There are aromatherapy, green plants, woolen flowers, snacks, tea, teapots and books. All the items are very new and of good quality. The nightgown is obviously different from those in the hotel. The disposable slippers are also inconspicuous, but they are actually very non-slip. Even the bath towels are prepared in two types: disposable (very thick) and disinfection cabinet. It shows that the boss is a person with taste, generous, and really prepared carefully. Secondly, let's talk about the boss. It's really the same as what others commented. He is so enthusiastic and easy to get along with. As a peer, I envy the boss's life, which is comfortable and leisurely. This is the best homestay I have ever stayed in. The homestays in Lijiang and Dali are completely different from this one.
