Join an exclusive workshop at the Nieuwe Instituut in Rotterdam, organized by the Beroepsvereniging Nederlandse Interieurarchitecten (BNI) as part of the Drawn to Drawing symposium and the exhibition "Nederland op de Tekentafel - 100 jaar aan ideeën voor de toekomst uit het heden en verleden". Participants will have the opportunity to explore the world of drawing in unexpected ways. Before the workshop, attendees will receive an introduction to the exhibition from the curator. The workshop itself will be led by artist Victor Elberse from the Willem de Kooning Academie and Facilitator Jafeth Hagoort from the College van Rijksadviseurs and Nieuwe Instituut. Together with the participants, they will reverse the process from thinking to doing. The afternoon will conclude with a presentation by illustrator and landscape architect Cor Symon, who will discuss the intersection of drawing and A.I. This workshop offers a unique approach to drawing, where an analog algorithm guides participants through the process, emphasizing collaboration and meaning rather than simply lines and layers. The significance and value of A.I. in relation to drawing will also be explored. The workshop poses the question of whether A.I. will replace human artists in the future, and it challenges the notion of learning and mastering a skill versus commanding creativity. 【Markthal Arcade Market】 is located in Lawrence Square in the center of Rotterdam. It is special because it is the world&#39;s first building that combines a market and a residence, making it a new landmark in Rotterdam. Markthal is known as the modern version of the Sistine Chapel. The inner arch is printed with a large mural called &quot;Harvest Corner&quot;, which is the largest artwork in the Netherlands. Under this arched structure, there are more than 80 shops selling fresh food. The arched roof can accommodate 228 apartments and even 1,200 parking spaces. Each apartment has a wide view.
