Pupils from Key Stage 1 and 2 will showcase their talent and perform on stage from all of the 9 Federation Schools. We will see singing, dancing, gymnastics, musical instruments, a chess player and a DJ!! It will be another phenomenal night with over 68 children performing in front of over 400 staff, guests, parents and carers. The winning school will get a shield engraved which will stay in school for 12 months until the next Federation Talent Show.

Join the Make Art: Midlands workshop at The New Art Gallery Walsall on December 6, 2023, from 1:15 to 3:15pm. This two-hour creative workshop, led by Outside In artist and Midlands Advisory Group member Pamela Schilderman, will explore carbon paper as a drawing medium. Participants will have the opportunity to respond to artworks in the New Art Gallery Walsall Collection, drawing inspiration from Birds in Flight by Georges Braque, Eagle by Henri Gaudier-Brzeska, and Sketch of Doves by Sir Jacob Epstein.
During the workshop, participants will learn three different techniques of drawing with carbon paper. They can choose to focus on one or more of these techniques to create their own carbon drawing. All materials will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring magazine cut-outs or computer printouts of animals or birds to incorporate into their artwork. Visual aids, such as drawings and photos, along with information sheets will be provided to aid the creative process.
