Please note, most of the Pink slots have been allocated on Spond - so if you’ve already booked there, please leave these spaces for new riders! Pink 1 | Chase the SunThis is the Super Solstice hill climb challenge : can we ride Dovestones AND Holme Moss before sundown? We ride as a group apart from the hills, where it's a tussle between you, the gradient and how hard your legs are screaming. We wait at the top and continue together, before heading back to Station South to grab last orders. > Group Leader : Laurie > Meet : 5.50pm for a 6pm departure > Suitable for: Confident road cyclists, used to the distance and speed advertised. Road bikes essential. > Distance / Terrain : 74km | 1258m of climbing| Roads with traffic and lots of hills! > Speed : 28kph+ on the flat > Route : Pink 2 | Embrace the SunThe chilled buddy of Pink 1 - we’re choosing to embrace, rather than chase the sun on this one. We’ll be tackling the Brickworks to enjoy the light evening views but avoiding the tricky descents on the other side by riding back down the way we came and meandering back through the Cheshire countryside. > Group Leaders : Anna, Becca > Meet : 5.50pm for a 6pm departure > Suitable for: Confident road cyclists, used to the distance and speed advertised. Road bikes highly recommended. > Distance / Terrain : 53km | 549m of elevation | Roads with traffic and hills! > Speed : 22-24kph on the flat > Route Pink 3 | Wobble the SunThe bumpy, gravelly, chatty one, led by the amazing Jack who helps to run the famous weekly gravel rides a.k.a Whacky Wednesdays. Gravel / MTB bikes highly recommended. > Distance / Terrain : 40km | 500m of climbing |Bumpy off road, loose gravel, hills. > Route : Blue > Pink | Savour the SunAre you Pink curious but have felt more confident as a Blue rider? This could be the perfect doorway into what Pink is all about with this transitional ride led by the amazing Kirsty. The route and distance will skirt the Blue / Pink border and offer a slightly more challenging ride for Blues or a more chilled one for Pinks. > Group Leader : Kirsty > Meet : 5.50pm for a 6pm departure > Suitable for: Cyclists confident with the route and distance advertised. > Distance / Terrain : 30km | 232m of climbing |Mainly off road, not too bumpy! > Route : This route is trike and non-standard bike friendly, please drop us a line if your bike fits that description so we can double check the suitability :) Blue | Tickle the Sun with Bee Pedal ReadyJoin our great friend Bee and her crew from Bee Pedal Ready for a super chilled, super chatty and super smiley cycling cruise into the sunset. Expect a few stops to take in the nature around Chorlton and Sale waterparks and enjoy each other's company along the way. > Group Leader : Belinda > Meet : 5.50pm for a 6pm departure > Suitable for: For those who have ridden before and happy with the advertised distance but want to expand their knowledge of the area. Most bikes will be fine on this route, though we recommend a few gears. > Distance / Terrain : 18km | Mostly off road, some loose gravel but mainly paved > Speed : Unpaced, to suit the group’s ability. > Route: ++++ If for any reason your circumstances change and you can no longer join us, please let us know and we can give your space to someone else.
