SSF (Season 2) - Tour B [Siglap Lost in Time ] | Marine Terrace MRT Station (TE27)
Jun 14, 2025 (UTC+8)
Singapore
Siglap Lost in Time
Where echoes of the past whisper through the veil of the present.
This 90-minute morning walking tour takes you through one of Singapore’s most storied and spiritual neighborhoods—Siglap. From colonial footsteps to spectral encounters, you’ll be immersed in a journey that weaves history with haunting.
We begin at Marine Terrace MRT Station, setting the stage with chilling tales from St. Patrick’s School, where generations of students have whispered of phantom footsteps, locked doors swinging open on their own, and the solemn echo of old spirits still keeping vigil. As we walk toward the nearby cluster of five-storey HDB flats, you’ll hear accounts of suicides, mysterious knocks at night, and ghostly figures seen standing by the corridors—stories shared by former residents themselves.
Our path leads to Kubor Kassim, one of Singapore’s most active cemeteries. Amidst graves dating back over a century lie stories of restless spirits, ritual offerings, and sightings of shadowy figures that vanish when approached. We’ll also stop by the keramat of Tok Lassam, a sacred site steeped in mystery and reverence, where the veil between this world and the next feels especially thin.
By the time we return to our starting point, you’ll leave with more than just stories—you’ll carry with you the lingering feeling that Siglap is a place where the past never truly dies.

[19 & 20 Jun 2025] Effective Guide To Sustainability Reporting | Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre, an IHG Hotel
Jun 19, 2025 (UTC+8)
Singapore
Effective Guide To Sustainability Reporting - TGS-2022602505
Sustainability reporting is the practice of publicly disclosing a company's social, environmental, and economic performance. This reporting is also known as corporate sustainability reporting, corporate social responsibility reporting, or environmental, social, and governance (ESG) reporting.
Sustainability reporting is becoming increasingly important as companies are held to higher standards of accountability and transparency, and stakeholders (such as investors, customers, employees, and regulators) demand more information about a company's sustainability practices. The reporting provides an opportunity for companies to demonstrate their commitment to sustainability and showcase their efforts to address social and environmental issues.
Sustainability reports typically include information on a company's environmental impact, social impact, governance practices, and sustainability initiatives. The reports often contain data and metrics, such as carbon emissions, water usage, waste reduction, employee diversity, and community engagement.
Many organizations use established frameworks, such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) or the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), to guide their sustainability reporting. These frameworks provide guidelines and standards for reporting on specific sustainability issues, which can help companies structure their reporting and provide consistency in reporting across industries.

Jun 26, 2025 (UTC+8)
Singapore
2 Day Professional Certificate in Artificial Intelligence Ethics and Governance Framework - TGS-2022602084
In the global discourse on Artificial Intelligence ethics and governance, Singapore believes that its balanced approach can facilitate innovation, safeguard consumer interests, and serve as a common global reference point. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Ethics & Governance is an emerging field, and for any companies and professionals involved in AI Projects and AI Development, we will need to demonstrate a working understanding of the AI Ethics Governance Framework.
Singapore Model AI Governance Framework: On 23 January 2019, the PDPC released its first edition of the Model AI Governance Framework (Model Framework) for broader consultation, adoption and feedback. The Model Framework provides detailed and readily implementable guidance to private sector organisations to address key ethical and governance issues when deploying AI solutions. By explaining how AI systems work, building good data accountability practices, and creating open and transparent communication, the Model Framework aims to promote public understanding and trust in technologies.
This 2 Day Masterclass aims to equip you with the most in-demand skills and best practices in AI Ethics and Governance Framework. You will be provided with full guidance on issues to be considered and measures that can be implemented to build stakeholder confidence in AI and to demonstrate reasonable efforts to align internal policies, structures, and processes with relevant accountability-based practices in data management and protection.
Our course in Artificial Intelligence Ethics and Governance in action will ensure that you will take home an in-depth understanding of the various areas to watch out for when deploying or using 3rd Party AI technology.

The Chainsmokers are set to perform in Singapore on 27 June, 2025 at Arena @ EXPO.
ABOUT THE CHAINSMOKERSThe Chainsmokers, Drew Taggart and Alex Pall, have continuously pushed the boundaries of music, seamlessly blending genres like pop, indie, electronic, alternative, and rock. The duo’s groundbreaking approach has set cultural trends, yielding chart-topping hits, a historic Las Vegas residency, and packing arena tours across countless continents. The EP’s boundary-breaking single, Addicted–with Mwaki producer Zerb and frequent Beyoncé collaborator INK–dominated global charts. The follow-up, Don’t Lie with pop star Kim Petras, was a cross-genre smash. For 2025, The Chainsmokers are celebrating their progressive house roots with a return to the acclaimed remixes they are known for–released for the fans, and only through SoundCloud.
In 2020, the duo co-founded Mantis Venture Capital, an early-stage VC firm now managing nearly $250M in assets. With a deep focus on social capital and investment in innovative companies committed to a sustainable future, The Chainsmokers are consistently cited as some of the world’s top celebrity investors. Their production company, Kick The Habit, is currently working alongside Will Smith’s Westbrook on romcom Clean Air for Amazon Studios. From France with Franz | Esplanade Recital Studio
Jun 30, 2025 (UTC+8)
Singapore
Join the
Oceanus Trio
for an evening of exquisite chamber music.
From France with Franz
brings together the works of
Gabriel Fauré
and
Franz Schubert
, spanning the dawn and dusk of the Romantic period.
Anchoring the program are
Schubert’s Piano Trio in B-flat Major
and
Fauré’s Piano Trio in D Minor
, two contrasting works that beautifully complement each other. Schubert’s harmonic clarity and structural finesse provide a striking contrast to Fauré’s expressive lyricism and uniquely colorful harmonies.
Fauré (1845-1924), was born while Chopin was still composing, and he lived to see the emergence of jazz and atonal music. Though less widely celebrated than Schubert, his music—quirky, elegant, and irresistibly charming—deserves more recognition. Featuring other exquisite miniatures such as his Romance for piano and Violin and
Papillon
, this program hopes to highlight his distinctive voice.
Join us for a captivating evening where classical elegance meets the poetic fluidity of late Romanticism and early 20th-century harmonies. Whether you’re drawn to Schubert’s radiant craftsmanship or Fauré’s dreamy, intimate soundscapes,
From France with Franz
offers a journey through time and styles.
Reserve your tickets now for this unforgettable musical experience!
Program:
Franz Schubert: Piano Trio in B-flat Major, D. 898
Gabriel Fauré: Piano Trio in D minor, Op. 120
Gabriel Fauré: Valse Caprice No. 2 in D-flat, Op. 38
Gabriel Fauré: Romance for Violin and Piano, Op. 28
Gabriel Fauré: Papillon, Op. 77
Program may be subject to change.
