SSF (Season 2) - Tour A [Shadows Over Outram] | Spottiswoode Park Road
Jun 13, 2025 (UTC+8)
Singapore
Shadows Over Outram
The past never dies—it just hides in plain sight.
Outram bears many names. A medical hub. A colonial relic. A hill of secrets. But after dark, another name rises—Singapore’s most haunted district.
This is a journey into the unseen. Through flickering corridors, winding alleyways, and pockets of vanishing history, we reveal a district haunted not just by spirits, but by memory and neglect.
We begin at Spooner Road, where echoing footsteps and strange apparitions have long plagued the residents. Once railway quarters for Malayan Railways, now a near-abandoned ghost estate, it tells stories of loneliness, despair, and things that never left.
Then we make our way to Pearl’s Hill Terrace—once a bustling police barracks, now a decaying colonial holdout with long corridors that creak with more than just time. Here, multiple accounts speak of doors slamming on their own, disembodied voices, and cold spots with no explanation.
As we uncover the forgotten lore of this quarter—of hidden cells, secret tunnels, and lingering wartime trauma—you’ll see a different side of Outram. One where the ghosts are both literal and metaphorical.

Jun 26, 2025 (UTC+8)
Singapore
2 Day Professional Certificate in Artificial Intelligence Ethics and Governance Framework - TGS-2022602084
In the global discourse on Artificial Intelligence ethics and governance, Singapore believes that its balanced approach can facilitate innovation, safeguard consumer interests, and serve as a common global reference point. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Ethics & Governance is an emerging field, and for any companies and professionals involved in AI Projects and AI Development, we will need to demonstrate a working understanding of the AI Ethics Governance Framework.
Singapore Model AI Governance Framework: On 23 January 2019, the PDPC released its first edition of the Model AI Governance Framework (Model Framework) for broader consultation, adoption and feedback. The Model Framework provides detailed and readily implementable guidance to private sector organisations to address key ethical and governance issues when deploying AI solutions. By explaining how AI systems work, building good data accountability practices, and creating open and transparent communication, the Model Framework aims to promote public understanding and trust in technologies.
This 2 Day Masterclass aims to equip you with the most in-demand skills and best practices in AI Ethics and Governance Framework. You will be provided with full guidance on issues to be considered and measures that can be implemented to build stakeholder confidence in AI and to demonstrate reasonable efforts to align internal policies, structures, and processes with relevant accountability-based practices in data management and protection.
Our course in Artificial Intelligence Ethics and Governance in action will ensure that you will take home an in-depth understanding of the various areas to watch out for when deploying or using 3rd Party AI technology.

From France with Franz | Esplanade Recital Studio
Jun 30, 2025 (UTC+8)
Singapore
Join the
Oceanus Trio
for an evening of exquisite chamber music.
From France with Franz
brings together the works of
Gabriel Fauré
and
Franz Schubert
, spanning the dawn and dusk of the Romantic period.
Anchoring the program are
Schubert’s Piano Trio in B-flat Major
and
Fauré’s Piano Trio in D Minor
, two contrasting works that beautifully complement each other. Schubert’s harmonic clarity and structural finesse provide a striking contrast to Fauré’s expressive lyricism and uniquely colorful harmonies.
Fauré (1845-1924), was born while Chopin was still composing, and he lived to see the emergence of jazz and atonal music. Though less widely celebrated than Schubert, his music—quirky, elegant, and irresistibly charming—deserves more recognition. Featuring other exquisite miniatures such as his Romance for piano and Violin and
Papillon
, this program hopes to highlight his distinctive voice.
Join us for a captivating evening where classical elegance meets the poetic fluidity of late Romanticism and early 20th-century harmonies. Whether you’re drawn to Schubert’s radiant craftsmanship or Fauré’s dreamy, intimate soundscapes,
From France with Franz
offers a journey through time and styles.
Reserve your tickets now for this unforgettable musical experience!
Program:
Franz Schubert: Piano Trio in B-flat Major, D. 898
Gabriel Fauré: Piano Trio in D minor, Op. 120
Gabriel Fauré: Valse Caprice No. 2 in D-flat, Op. 38
Gabriel Fauré: Romance for Violin and Piano, Op. 28
Gabriel Fauré: Papillon, Op. 77
Program may be subject to change.

BETWEEN DECLARATIONS AND DREAMS: ART OF SOUTHEAST ASIA SINCE THE 19TH CENTURY | National Gallery Singapore
ENDED
Singapore
Housed in the former Supreme Court building, the UOB Southeast Asia Gallery features over 300 artworks that trace shared artistic impulses across Southeast Asia. Beginning in the mid-19th century, the exhibition navigates Southeast Asia’s art history as an ongoing encounter with the new, as artists across the region negotiate the meaning of art and seek to reinvent vernacular expressions and aesthetics. Presented largely chronologically and interspersed with key turning points in artistic sensibilities, the exhibition also identifies how art is inextricably linked to the region’s turbulent social and political history.
The exhibition owes its title to Chairil Anwar, one of Indonesia’s most cherished poets. In his 1948 poem Krawang-Bekasi, Chairil Anwar lamented the massacre of villagers by Dutch colonial troops in West Java, giving vent to the desire for national independence at the time. This line can also be said of the experience of many artists in the region, caught between manifesto and dream, personal and political.
The curatorial narrative explores four themed locations in roughly chronological order, each of which critically examines common artistic impulses in the region during each period: Authority and Anxiety, Imagining the Nation and the Self, Performing the Nation, and Redefining Art.

Diplomacy and Desire - Basoeki Abdullah in Singapore | National Gallery Singapore
May 9, 2025–Feb 1, 2026 (UTC+8)
Singapore
Diplomacy and Desire: Basoeki Abdullah in Singapore is an exhibition of artworks by Indonesian painter, Basoeki Abdullah (1915-1993) who is known for his paintings of stalwart statesmen and attractive women.
The highlights of the exhibition are two paintings that the artist gifted to Singapore. Diplomacy and Desire focuses on the artist’s relationship to Singapore and his time living in Singapore when it achieved self-government in 1959.
The exhibition considers the relationship between Basoeki as a high-society painter and his agency as a regional cultural producer who was keenly aware of the geopolitical value of his artworks.
The exhibition encourages audiences to see this prominent portraitist anew and reflect upon the ‘power’ of beauty and art in post-colonial Southeast Asia.

From Complexity to Connectivity: Bridging the Future of Hybrid Integration | Sheraton Towers Singapore
Jun 3, 2025 (UTC+8)
Singapore
Smarter, Faster and More Cost-Effective Integration for Future-Ready Organisations
Singapore has emerged as Southeast Asia’s frontrunner in cloud adoption, with cloud infrastructure now serving as the bedrock of enterprise IT modernisation. As digital transformation accelerates, the cloud is no longer just an enabler - it is the engine of innovation, empowering businesses to scale, optimise operations and drive agility in an increasingly competitive landscape.
At the same time,
Singapore’s strong emphasis on data sovereignty and regulatory compliance
shapes how organisations approach cloud adoption. With increasing reliance on public cloud services, businesses must navigate the complexities of data residency and governance while ensuring seamless interoperability across hybrid environments. These considerations make it essential for enterprises to adopt
integration strategies that balance compliance with agility.
Beyond foundational cloud adoption, organisations are harnessing the power of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to unlock unprecedented capabilities. This shift underscores
the rising demand for scalable, high-performance computing environments
that support complex AI workloads, streamline development and accelerate time to market.
Yet, realising the full potential of cloud-driven innovation remains a challenge. Data silos, fragmented systems and legacy applications create bottlenecks that stifle efficiency, inflate costs and slow down decision-making. Without a seamless integration strategy, businesses struggle to extract actionable insights, adapt to shifting market dynamics and meet evolving customer expectations.
Disconnected systems and outdated architectures limit agility
, making it difficult for organisations to optimise processes and drive meaningful innovation. These inefficiencies not only increase operational complexity but also hinder business responsiveness in an era where speed and adaptability define success.
A future-ready integration strategy is the key
to overcoming these barriers. Hybrid integration platforms eliminate complexity, reduce costs and optimise operations - bridging cloud and on-premises systems to create
a seamless, scalable foundation.
Solutions such as
IBM’s Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS)
exemplify how intelligent integration can automate workflows, enable frictionless hybrid deployments and accelerate time to market with reusable frameworks. By simplifying connectivity across cloud and on-premises environments, these platforms help businesses break down silos and achieve end-to-end visibility across their digital ecosystem.
By leveraging AI-powered automation and real-time data integration, organisations can enhance agility, streamline processes and drive continuous innovation. The flexibility to integrate across diverse environments ensures businesses can adapt to shifting demands, leverage actionable insights and remain competitive in a rapidly evolving digital economy.
The future of business is hybrid.
Embracing intelligent hybrid integration is a strategic imperative for sustained growth and competitive advantage.
Organisations that integrate smarter, faster and more seamlessly will lead the digital-first economy, unlocking new opportunities, maximising efficiency and accelerating transformation at scale.
Hybrid Integration to Overcome IT Complexity
Hybrid integration is essential for simplifying IT complexity, seamlessly linking cloud and on-premises systems to break down data silos and optimise operations. By enabling real-time connectivity across diverse environments, it reduces integration friction, enhances agility and accelerates digital transformation. Organisations that embrace hybrid integration gain the flexibility to modernise at their own pace while maximising the value of existing IT investments.
Reducing Costs, Accelerating Project Delivery
and
Ensuring Compliance in a Dynamic Regulatory Landscape
Cutting costs, accelerating project delivery and ensuring compliance with evolving regulations are critical for business success. By optimising resources and automating workflows, organisations can accelerate execution while maintaining regulatory adherence. A proactive approach to cost efficiency and compliance enables businesses to stay competitive and adaptable in a rapidly changing landscape.
