Join your fellow MTBCO members for a group ride at Crawford Trails on Monday, May 26 at 6:00 pm. All riding abilities and ages are welcome, as this is a great way to meet new riding pals and learn about trails that you might not even know about! Children must be accompanied by an adult and have ridden at Crawford Trails previously - please email events@mtbco.ca with any questions. Helmets are mandatory. Riders must ride a reasonably modern mountain bike and make sure it's in good working order before the ride. Riders should bring their own tools and a tube. We'll meet at the Trailhead to sign and and be ready to ride by 5:45 pm. We will plan for rides of 60-90 minutes in length, depending on the group. After the ride, stick around for a post-ride social, we will provide snacks and non-alcoholic refreshments. Reminder to bring a chair to rest your tired legs. Sorry, but no dogs allowed. As climate risk continues to shape insurance, financing, public expectations and government policies, low-carbon and resilient buildings are becoming more and more necessary. A growing green building community in the Okanagan is adapting to this new reality despite economic uncertainty and rising construction costs. Building low-carbon and resilient buildings is a key ingredient to building better communities, but this is easier said than done. It’s important that we acknowledge the challenges and create space for collective action to overcome them.
