Come and discover the intriguing world of American artist MOMO at the Momo's Secrets + Studio Cromie Screen Printing Workshops. MOMO, known for his captivating outdoor artwork, will reveal the mysteries behind his unique roller techniques, allowing participants to create their own masterpieces. But be warned, if MOMO is impressed with your design, he may incorporate it into his own art without giving credit. During the workshops, attendees will also have the opportunity to meet Angelo Milano, the renowned artist and founder of Studio Cromie. Milano will not only demonstrate the art of screen printing but will also become your new best friend as he guides you through the process. Make sure to wear clothes that can get dirty and bring items such as shirts, totes, or even Nan's doona cover that you would like to print on. The workshop will take place at the Current Gallery in Fremantle, at the former substation of The Naval Store. The event will run from 2 pm and last for 2.5 hours, accommodating up to 20 people. In case the workshop sells out, a second session will be added to accommodate more participants. MOMO, an American artist with a passion for experimental outdoor work, has been creating captivating murals and studio art since 2009. His unique visual language, developed over ten years of creative exploration, combines elements of collage, computer code, and adapted masonry techniques. MOMO's artwork has been commissioned by renowned brands and institutions such as Facebook, Pepsi, the NFL, and the World Trade Center. Angelo Milano, on the other hand, is an artist dedicated to breaking the boundaries of institutional art. As the founder of Studio Cromie and the creator of the FAME festival, Milano has been at the forefront of reviving and inspiring sleepy Italian towns with his anarchic approach to art. His collaboration with internationally acclaimed artists has stirred the minds of communities, encouraging them to break free from monotonous cycles. Don't miss this extraordinary opportunity to delve into the secrets of MOMO's art and experience the creativity of Angelo Milano at the Momo's Secrets + Studio Cromie Screen Printing Workshops. Secure your spot now for an affordable ticket price of $11.90. The event will take place on December 2, 2023, at the Current Gallery in Fremantle, Western Australia.
