When the King Speaks the Queen Rises Women's Gathering | Trinity Lutheran Seminary at Capital University
Jul 18, 2025 (UTC-4)
Bexley
Women need a sacred place to reset, reconnect and learn how to R.E.S.T. (Resist Every Stressful Thought). Satan is just not trying to destroy the value of the woman, silence her input or dismiss her contribution; he's trying to rewire her identity in Christ, her emotional intelligence and her relational intelligence. Where not just her hope is fractionalized but her soul is. Hence the cry, "
There's a Queen in Me: You Won't Break my Soul."
Over the course of this
two day gathering
, queens will engage in panel discussions and transformative and interactive workshops led by both Queens and Kings on emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, healthy boundaries, imposter syndrome and relational healing. The kings bring in the royalty, the supremacy, the hope and the involvement of God, the King of Kings, when it comes to the woman's true and authentic identity and design of being fearfully and wonderfully made.
Grab other queens and Come on in the Room.
Registration includes: Materials, Light meals, Prizes and much more.

Luna Lapin Workshop - Tutored session | Happy Hare
Jul 19, 2025 (UTC+1)
Sheffield
We all love Luna Lapin, designed by the amazing Sarah Peel of Cool Crafting (www.coolcrafting.co.uk)!
We've had pretty regular untutored making sessions over the years, but it's a while since we actually did this as a tutored workshop. It's definitely time we did it again!
There is an awful lot of hand sewing involved in this project, so please do keep in mind that you may not finish, but we'll make sure we talk you through the tricky bits, so you're able to finish off independently, if needed.
Tea, coffee and homemade cake are included.
This is an all-day course, so you will need to either bring a packed lunch, or buy something from a local shop on the day.
If the weather is nice, it's likely the class will be held outside. We do have some camping chairs, but if you have one of your own you want to use, or you're likely to get sunburn, please do feel free to bring whatever will make you most comfortable.
What is included with this class:
A copy of Sarah's first book, Making Luna Lapin (if you already have a copy, why not give one to a friend?
Quarter of a metre of lovely wool to make your Luna - we find that wool is a bit harder wearing than felt, and a bit more forgiving for beginners
Quarter of a metre of cotton lawn - for feet and ears. And with enough left over to make a little dress after the class
All of your haberdashery - thread, interfacing, buttons, stuffing etc.
Skill level:
Beginner
Terms and conditions:
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.
All workshops will begin promptly at the scheduled time, so please ensure that you arrive early enough to get yourself settled in before the class is due to start.
Cancellations:
For cancellations with more than two weeks’ notice, a refund will be given, less a 25% administration fee. Cancellations with less two weeks’ notice are non-refundable, unless we are able to fill your place.
All workshops will clearly be marked as being suitable for beginners, intermediate or advanced. When booking a workshop, you are responsible for assessing your own abilities. Happy Hare cannot be held responsible if you book the wrong level of workshop or do not read the description of the workshop correctly. A refund will not be given for booking a workshop which you later feel is not at the right level for you, unless the cancellation is made more than two weeks’ prior to the scheduled date.
Should we need to cancel a class due to circumstances beyond our control or limited numbers, a full refund will be given. Alternatively, you will be given the option to book onto another workshop.
Please note: when making a booking it is assumed that our terms and conditions have been read and approved.

We are excited to present to you this year, for the 2nd year running,
The Kent Fashion & Arts Showcase 2025
!
This event is from the Kent Junior School of Fashion & Arts , a not-for profit based in Aylesham, Canterbury.
Every Saturday morning during term time since last Sept/Oct, we have had the most talented group of young creatives between the Ages of 5-16 spend 2½ hrs with us learning and creating and learning skills in drawing, sewing, designing, draping, illustration, painting and more.
To wrap up our creative year in July, we present a Fashion and Arts showcase, where our young creatives will present their own original designs, tailored, and made by them on the runway with models. We would also be having guest designers, art showcase, music, games, and lots more.
The event promises to be amazing, and a one of its kind, being the only event in the whole of Kent celebrating young creatives in Arts and Fashion on a catwalk/runway and an exhibition.
Get ready for a fabulous afternoon as you join us at the
