Ga jij in 2025 starten, beginnen, iets in gang zetten, vertrekken, aanvangen, openen of ergens mee aan de slag? Kom op 5 januari naar Marineterrein Amsterdam en waag de sprong in het diepe. Dan warmen we daarna samen op in de sauna van Kuuma, met koek en zopie van Pension Homeland en Kometen Brood Loket. Op 5 januari 2015 gingen de poorten van het Marineterrein open. Daarmee werd het een plek voor ons allemaal. Amsterdammers weten het terrein ondertussen goed te vinden. In de zomer ligt het er vol zonaanbidders die genieten van groen, zon en water, in koudere tijden wordt er gewandeld, gezwommen en gesport. Ondertussen wordt er op het Marineterrein ook al tien jaar hard gewerkt aan het bedenken en testen van innovatieve ideeën voor het leefbaar houden van onze snel veranderende stad. Deze bijzondere gebeurtenis willen we graag vieren, samen met alle mensen die deze plek een warm hart toedragen. Tijdens de Amsterdamse nieuwjaarsduik op 5 januari 2025 wagen we de sprong en duiken we samen het water van de Binnenhaven in. Op naar de volgende tien jaar Marineterrein! Let op: Kinderen tot 10 jaar kunnen helaas niet deelnemen aan de Amsterdamse Nieuwjaarsduik, het water is diep en daardoor met deze kou gevaarlijk voor jonge zwemmers. C'est l'occasion de venir découvrir de nouveaux artistes qui ne savent pas encore qu'ils sont artistes, se jeter dans le grand bain. On leur a donné comme consigne de faire entre 5 et 8 minutes de passage sur scène, pas de thème imposé, juste des nouvelles blagues que l'on n'a jamais entendues dans l'histoire du Dam Qui Rit. Overzicht lessenreeks: 12 September Paint like Picasso In deze workshop staan kleur en beweging centraal. We werken aan een kleurrijk portret geïnspireerd door het werk van Picasso. Hij is een van de grondleggers van het kubisme, in zijn schilderijen speelt hij met vorm en perspectief. En dat is precies wat wij deze avond ook gaan doen. Picasso staat bekend om zijn speelse, kleurrijke manier van schilderen. Portretten schildert hij bijvoorbeeld uit verschillende gezichtspunten, wat het vaak ook luchtig en grappig maakt. Het leuke aan deze manier van schilderen is dat het niet hoeft te kloppen! Materialen: verf, pastelkrijt, potlood, groot papier 'To draw you must close your eyes and sing' Pablo Picasso 10 oktober Portretten In deze workshop leer je hoe je een portret kan tekenen. We kijken naar de verhoudingen en besteden ook aandacht aan schaduw en contouren. Wist je dat de ogen precies in het midden van het gezicht zitten? En dat er verhoudingsgewijs tussen de ogen precies weer een oog past? Na deze workshop zal je anders naar gezichten kijken! Materialen: tekenpotlood, houtskool, stevig papier 14 november Fine lines like Miro In deze workshop staat de kunstenaar Miro centraal. Hij combineert diepe kleurvlakken met fijne lijnen. Miro is bekend om zijn originele veelal ideogrammatische vormenwereld We gaan hier op een speelse manier mee aan het werk en combineren kleur met vorm, zowel abstract als figuratief. Materialen: fineliner, pastelkrijt, verf, stevig papier 12 december Aquarelverf In deze workshop gaan we met aquarelverf aan de slag. Aquarelverven is een verfijnde verftechniek. Het woord zegt het al; water gemengd met verf. Afhankelijk van de verhouding kan je dik of transparant werken. Eerst leer je de techniek, vervolgens maak je je eigen schilderijtje en een set van 3 ansichtkaarten. Hoe leuk is het om je geliefde met kerst een eigen gemaakt kerstkaartje te sturen? Laat je creativiteit letterlijk stromen! Materialen: aquarelverf, 300gr aquarelpapier, ansichtkaarten 9 januari Freestyle kunstavond! Het nieuwe jaar is begonnen! We gaan het samen creatief openen en maken een inspirerend kunstwerk voor het komende jaar, met alle fijne dingen die we onszelf toewensen. Pianist Mattias Spee presenteert in De Duif het derde album uit zijn Eclipse-serie, gewijd aan de muziek en het tragische levensverhaal van de door het Sovjet-regime geboycotte componist Sergei Protopopov, aangevuld met optredens van Maria Pedano en Maya Fridman. In de serie Eclipse ontdekt pianist Mattias Spee de verborgen schatten van het pianorepertoire. Metspecial guestsMaria Pedano en Maya Fridman. Op 15 februari 2025 wordt het 3e en laatste album in de Eclipse-reeks gepresenteerd. Hierop staat muziek van de Russische componist Sergei Protopopov, een genie dat door het Sovjet-regime werd geboycot (helaas met groot succes) vanwege zijn homoseksualiteit en zijn vooruitstrevende opvattingen. Deze avond staat in het teken van Protopopov, zijn levensverhaal en zijn muziek. Hij was een briljante pianist en een groot aanstormend talent als componist, maar hij werd gesaboteerd, omdat hij niet paste in het idyllische plaatje dat het Sovjet-regime nastreefde. Hij werd naar een goelag in Siberië gestuurd en zijn muziek werd onder het tapijt geveegd. Passend genoeg vindt dit concert plaats in De Duif. Hier staat de vleugel van Youri Egorov, de beroemde Russische pianist die naar Amsterdam vluchtte, omdat hij net als Protopopov door het Sovjet-regime werd vervolgd om zijn seksualiteit. Tijdens het concert komen allerlei verborgen parels aan bod op de piano, die Mattias Spee in de afgelopen jaren heeft ontdekt. Ook heeft hij twee special guests uitgenodigd om het podium met hem te delen: Maria Pedano (sopraan) en Maya Fridman (cello), twee muzikanten die hun publiek recht in het hart raken. Samen brengen zij prachtige en soms ook hartverscheurende muziek van Russische componisten uit de Sovjet-tijd ten gehore.
