Renaissance consortmuziek door Royal Wind Music Academy: getalenteerde blokfluitstudenten van het Conservatorium van Amsterdam spelen op een prachtige collectie van renaissance blokfluiten. The Royal Wind Music Academy presenteert ingenieuze 16e eeuwse muziek uit verschillende Europese landen, van de straten in Sevilla tot aan het hof in Engeland. Muziek van o.a. Antoine Brumel, Thomas Tallis, Johann Walter & Diego Ortiz. Ogni sorte di strumenti speelt hun nieuwste programma ‘Instrumentale zang in de Renaissance’, bestaande uit Venetiaanse muziek voor instrumenten en specifiek aangepast voor instrumenten, met werken van onder meer Frescobaldi, R. Rognoni, Guami, Grillo. Ogni sorte di strumenti, opgericht in 2022, is een jong ensemble gespecialiseerd in oude muziek. Met zowel een historische benadering als een nieuwsgierigheid naar zelden gespeeld repertoire, willen ze experimenteren met en nieuwe klankkleuren creëren, voor polyfone muziek en instrumentale muziek van de 16e en 17e eeuw, dankzij alle mogelijkheden die blaasinstrumenten bieden, zoals sackbuts, dulcianen en in het bijzonder blokfluiten! Public Sharing 20.00h Doors open 19.30h BAU, Entrepotdok 4 Amsterdam Alesya Dobysh is a professional dancer, choreographer and curator based in the Netherlands. She began her career in the street and club dance scene, where she cultivated a love for house dance culture, which has formed the basis of her artistic pursuits. She has been an active participant in the battle dance scene, winning main prizes at international events such as Summer Dance Forever (Amsterdam), Juste Debout (Paris), Random Circles (Frankfurt) and many others. Her artistic practice is committed to experimenting with the fusion of subcultural backgrounds and unconventional forms of expression with performance art, theatre, visual art and sound art. One of her signature approaches is to deconstruct footwork-oriented techniques into an abstract language that she uses to choreograph her works. Together with her collaborator, electronic music composer Max Frimout, she curates an interdisciplinary experimental project - Motus Sonus - that explores the relationship between movement, sound and space. Motus Sonus has been presented at 'De Fabriek' (Eindhoven, 2022), 'Windmill Perform' (Seoul, 2022), 'The Grey Space in the Middle' (The Hague, 2023), 'De Pont' (Tilburg, 2023), 'NP3 RE:Search:Gallery' (Groningen, 2024). Stichting LiveART initieert het avondvullende programma “Atlantis and Other Utopias”, een multidisciplinair project gebaseerd op de serie ‘Atlantis’ en ‘From the New World’ schilderijen van beeldend kunstenaar Maryleen Schiltkamp met speciaal hiervoor gecomponeerde muziek van componist/pianist Marion von Tilzer in combinatie met videoprojecties door Studio de Maan, die muziek en beeld als artistieke eenheid verbindt. Von Tilzer's nieuwe compositie en enkele andere stukken worden uitgevoerd door het Amstel Saxofoon Quartet, percussionist Jacobus Thiele en de componiste zelf op de piano. Schiltkamp's schilderijen, die het uitgangspunt voor het project vormden, worden tijdens het evenement ten toon gesteld in de Posthoornkerk.
