How to fill what's left of your day? How to fill what's left of your life? Sick buckets, buckets rattling, bucket lists, buckets of love. Adam Barnard's buckets is a wry, emotive, funny and heartfelt exploration of life, love, longing, loss and coming to terms with the fact that time always runs out. Through a series of interconnected scenes, we meet Sam, a teenager grappling with his own mortality and the impact that has on his family, his friends, his romantic relationships, and his interactions with anyone from random passers-by to celebrities. buckets swings through a kaleidoscopic world of sadness and happiness, illness and health, youth and experience, kissing and crying, singing and dying, building to a unique perspective on the universal dilemma: how do you deal with the fact that time always runs out. Featuring Conundrum's signature magnetic choreography by Alex Kong, original music from Henry Allen, an ecclectic soundtrack, a Taylor Swift cameo, and an emotional support Hamster (who is also a God), buckets will take you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions as it dives head first into figuring out the meaning of life and mortality. Performed by Conundrum's Performance Ensemble. Directed by Claire Glenn Assistant Direction by Kimberly Sim Choreography by Alex Kong Lighting designed by Anthony Kelly Original Music by Henry Allen. Written by Adam Barnard Recommended for ages 12+. Frequent mentions of death and dying. Some coarse language. Information Source: Conundrum Theatre | eventbrite
